Last month was just crazy, we increased the presence of NDC Degens in the Twitter, Reddit, YouTube and achieved outstanding results for a group of 12 participants.
This month we want to increase the metrics that were in October and support all initiatives from the NDC. Now NDC is entering the era of a complete launch and we are very happy about it. We intend to support voting, which launched yesterday.
We really hope for the success of this initiative and will be very happy to become a part of NDC V1.0. I am extremely grateful to MDAO for their support of our project and I am sure that we will not disappoint the community with the full launch of NDC Degens.

Proposal
In accordance with Near Digital Collective Core Values, we will adhere to the same strategy that we had in October.
Right now, we can only do 1 of the 5 MDAO things. But we think it’s really important. We’ll do the other 4 things when Degens DAO joins NDC. If you read our documents, you can see we’re all set for that.
- Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
Right now, the main NDC Degens members are trusted members who have been part of the ecosystem for over a year. They know the features, dApps, Near Social, and everything else in the ecosystem very well. We want to increase the number of experienced users with Public Degens, which will start after Degens DAO gets funding as Grassroot.
- Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
Right now that metric is not counted, but with future initiatives, we will be able to track every user that we’ve been able to onboard into the ecosystem
- Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
Also like the second point, we do not consider this indicator at this time, but will in the future.
- Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
We’ll think about how to solve this in the future when we move to full Grassroot.
- Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.
This is the primary focus for Degens. Our KPIs largely depend on the social media performance of each Degens member. Every month, our team aims to improve audience engagement. Adaptations to the primary tasks within the Near Ecosystem enable us to dynamically adjust our efforts, ensuring that the content created by Degens has a greater impact on the wider crypto community beyond the Near information sphere.
Therefore, we propose to organize our workflow for November as follows.
Objectives → Setting Goals → Agenda (Monthly, Weekly) → Working on Tasks → Reporting
Goals
At the beginning of November, we established the main areas of work, which were distributed according to importance for the ecosystem.

Attracting New Developers to the Ecosystem;

Attracting the attention of influencers from Dev topics (Rust, Blockchain, Solidity, JSX and so on);

Reddit posting focusing on dev’s direction (/r/rust/, r/devops/, /r/java/ and other);

Degens Content (This month there will be a lot of content on the official Twitter/Medium about Degens, please support all posts and content)

The main focus is technical content that attracts developers and new users
indicate the priority of the task for Degens for November. All NDC Degens participants were instructed and understood the tasks that needed to be completed. We have distributed the focus of attention both to events within the ecosystem and beyond.
Within the ecosystem, the main focus will be on creating content and shilling around VB Voting. In our opinion, this is one of the most important events within the ecosystem in 2023!

Also, within the NDC Degens ecosystem, we intend to become more public and talk about what the NDC Degens team is and how to become a member of it. Since November 16, we have started a series of content about each participant and about what goals and mission NDC Degens pursues.
We also intend to spread information about Public Degens, which will be launched after the launch of NDC v1.0. We are sure that this direction will bring new professionals to the ecosystem, as well as increase user interest in Near Protocol support.

Outside of the ecosystem, Degens will also work to attract attention from developers, influencers and projects. Last month we showed excellent results in this direction, we will try to do even more in November to achieve excellent results.
We have fulfilled the goals that were set in October. For November, they will be as follows:
Based on point 5 of the new requirements from MDAO, we see our KPI’s as follows:
- ~500,000 impressions on Twitter;
- At least 15 reactions from famous crypto influencers to our content;
- 5 pieces of content created by Influencers using targeting;
- At least 100 posts and content about development on Near;
- 100 YT targeting comments
- 30 direct twitter targeting posts
- At least 50 new posts in specialized subreddits (/r/rust/, r/devops/, /r/java/ and other)
- Full support VB;
- 5 manuals about project inside Near Protocol;

Conclusion
Thanks again to all those who supported us from the beginning of our diretion. We have overcome a huge number of obstacles and difficulties. Now NDC Degens looks like a full-fledged marketing/content hub, which is able to cover almost all the needs of the ecosystem.
We are ready to become something more and look forward to the end of the voting, which will change the Near Protocol ecosystem! We are absolutely sure that at the moment everything is moving in the right direction, albeit with some difficulties, but the result will be based solely on metrics, so NDC Degens intend to demonstrate this in practice
