Experience
Our team was formed more than two years ago in the Near Protocol ecosystem. At the beginning, we were members of the Degens Army, which was a rather chaotic place, there was no reporting, strict KPI’s, survival systems, and so on.
During this time, we changed all the mistakes, established predictable KPIs, a clear vision, and provided accurate reporting to the community. Our principles have always been and remain: transparency, honesty and accountability.

Budget size after launch NDC v1.0 [interim period] 
We are glad that NDC 1.0 has officially launched, although not in full, as the community expected.
Due to budget reduction, NDC Degens has decided to reduce the requested funds for this stage by 30% of the previous amount.
Changes made:
- The number of members in the NDC Degens main team has been reduced from 15 to 12 people.
- Remuneration for leaders has been decreased.
- The development rewards have been reduced and will be implemented in a simplified form — Widget + Smart Contract (user’s wallet record).
- Public Degens payments have been reduced.
We have successfully reduced the requested funds by 30%. However, we have not reduced the amount of work, and we aim to increase our metrics by at least 40% in the first 2 months after our new budget is approved.
Plans to achieve the goals set by KPIs remain unchanged and will be implemented in full accordance with our charter.

Currently, the NDC Degens initiative is fully operational, except for Public Degens.

Our initiative requires monthly funding.
Will your DAO/Project device way of sustaining itself after this round of funding?
In 2022, we tried to become self-sufficient. However, due to market and ecosystem conditions, we encountered a challenge as ecosystem projects were deficient in marketing funding. Nevertheless, we remain committed to striving for independence in the future.
What are the possible roadblocks to the success of your project/DAO?
Low community involvement could pose a challenge for the NDC Degens initiative. However, we are determined to encourage users to actively engage with the ecosystem and join both the NDC Degens WG community and our initiative.
