After the non-approval of our budget in July, we received feedback from the moderators so we could understand exactly the points that caused our disapproval. We especially thank the moderators @Cryptonaut and @Monish016 for their explanations and we would like to say that we worked hard in the August projects in order to fulfill the expected standards, thus contributing to a greater engagement of the community and distribution of incentives. @creativesdao-council
We are Happy to Support cool Projects for August.
For this month we have 4 awesome proposals developed by people who have recently joined the network.One of them, Giovana Goretti, PhD, is an international researcher, specialist in the sector of elaboration of socio-cultural projects and fundraising, and her workshop will bring too much value to the community, to help DAOs to begin their way to sustainability.
Also we have the proposal which probably is the first sound art exhibition in Voxels, to be organized by Raffa Gomes, a Brazilian artist who is completing his Master degree in sound art at Barcelona University.
Other highlight is the party to be conducted by May, PhD student in the Federal University of Bahia. She develops projects in the field of art and technology and for the FEMINU August Show, she will invite music producer and guitarist Junix (Baiana System).
And we have a special workshop to engage musicians to Near blockchain, by the use of the app Endless, that will be given by Frederico Campos, graduated in music at UEMG, has an MBA in Cultural Management, and also have been working in the Arts and Culture such as a music educator since 2002.
We made the option of not choosing a third council. Instead we will distribute incentives to some members to help with the council’s works. This is an experience to be evaluated and reported at the end of the month.
The curation work will be a challenge this month, setting up a sound exhibition, without visual artworks. Certainly a meta architectural puzzle!

This process depends on NF now. Community moderators don’t have any insight or impact on payments status, however, please stay patient, as it usually takes two weeks (more or less) for NF to process everything successfully.
