I’m Kristin, the CEO of Top[dot]gg, the discovery layer for the metaverse. We have been in contact with @chronear and @Nakameowdough from NEAR Foundation and are excited to share more about what we have been working on for DAO Discovery! Many of you may be familiar with our current platform which is useful for finding and growing Discord Bots and Servers. Earlier this week we took our first step beyond Discord and launched DAO Discovery to help make Web3 more accessible. You can check it out here: Discover DAOs | Decentralized Autonomous Organizations | Top.gg. As part of this launch, we’ve curated a list of resources for those new to web3 which features AstroDAO.
It only takes a few minutes to list your DAO’s Discord Server. You can click on “Add DAO” on top.gg/dao or visit top.gg/dao/new. This article will take you step by step through the process How to Add Your DAO to Top.gg : Top.gg . When you are adding your DAO’s Discord server to top.gg you can list up to 11 categories. Don’t forget to include NEAR as one of those categories. One note is that only the Discord Server owner can add the DAO to Top.gg at this time due to security reasons.
Right now, we recommend adding your DAO if you have a public discord server that anyone can join. If your DAO has an application process or private discord server, don’t worry! You also have the option to provide an “Apply” link if your Discord Server is not public.
Our dream is to have every DAO listed on Top.gg. We would love to work with you to get all NEAR DAOs added to our platform so that more people can discover them and grow the NEAR ecosystem. We are also exploring ways to integrate Moonbase Bot ( (Discord-voting and gating tool for Astro DAOs) in our DAO discovery platform and get it listed on Top.gg.

Background: Vanessa has deep expertise in community building and management, Discord Bot development and Discord best practices. She is the Top[dot]gg Community Lead, leading all community, support, and social media efforts and runs our Discord of ~180k developers and creators. She is also the developer behind the beloved Mimu Bot. Mimu is one of Discords top 40 bots and is currently in 880k+ servers and 10M concurrent users as well as a community of 45k members. She has a background and passion for mental health and crisis hotlines.
