Wanted to personally thank you and the @creativesdao-council community for letting us re-introduce ourselves and to share our highlights and achievements on this page.
My name is Jude Ashvin and Iām the founder of Keep It Local Asia. Keep It Local is a platform that promotes and represents upcoming local talents all across Asia. Together with KIL, I have produced over 30 live events and started our own production arm called KIL TV where we create and showcase local content. Recently, KIL has stepped in to the metaverse and launched our very own DAO called KIL DAO. Through this platform, we were able to showcase, promote and connect musicians all across Asia in the metaverse. Feel free to review or KIL DAO introduction for your reference, https://gov.near.org/t/kil-dao-introduction/10324?u=judekil
Currently, I am solely attached to the KIL DAO as we have plans to expand our community by onboarding more musicians to KIL DAO and NEAR.
On top of that, we have also onboarded over 9 South East Asian artist from MY and Singapore to the NEAR platform, KIL DAO and the @NxM community including
We have also launched our official our very own KIL NFT store via @Mintbase where we have given our over 20 Free NFTāS to our community along with gifting a NEAR account. We have also received an average attendance of 100 Pax per show, I have attached the date from our last show below,
Hi everyone, Iām Monica Weldon, Iām an artist, itās a great pressure to be part of this great community " Young Fresh DAO" and am sure that they will guide me throughout my journey here.
Hello, here is a brief introduction about Artivist and me:
I have been a cultural project manager and consultant for over 15 years and have created and produced numerous projects and from the Call Artivist project, which I created and led on web2, I had the insight to power it through a web dapp3
This encouraged me to research blockchain further and I joined NEAR in early 2022 participating in Near University forums
In March 2022 I created Artivist DAO and in April we submitted our first proposal, kicking off our development venture.
It will be a dapp that will connect artists and activists to social and environmental organizations through the blockchain-based creative economy.
Our mission is to create a tool for independent artists and organizations to get resources for social and environmental awareness and transformation.
Artivist is a DAO that has myself, @carolbampa Carol, and Mariana Hartental @mhartenthal on its board and works in partnership with @Ledum Peter and DAO Omen, who collaborates on web development and marketing strategies.
|Vision | Mission | Values|
To foster a collaborative network of creative professionals and activists on Web3;
Expand funding opportunities for social and environmental organizations;
To increase visibility and spread awareness of social and environmental causes through a decentralized network;
Introduce the Web3 ecosystem, decentralized management, and blockchain-based monetization to grassroots organizations and NGOs.
About the Artivist council:
Carol Bampa - Project Manager
Cultural Manager and Cultural Project Consultant. Worked in the Secretariat of Culture of the State of SĆ£o Paulo for four years. Produced three editions of the SĆ£o Paulo Cultural Map Festival, two editions of the Caraguatatuba National Theater Festival, and the National Folklore Congress. Collaborated with the Gender and Ethnicity Chapters of the Pontos de Cultura Program of the State of SĆ£o Paulo. Finalist of the first edition of the Festival of Ideas held by Ruth Cardoso Cultural Center with a recyclable waste project, CATA-LOGO. Participated in the foundation of the Fazenda Cachoeira Park Movement, which promotes social, educational and cultural activities related to environmental preservation and the historical heritage of the city of Vinhedo. Idealized, produced and managed the Paisagem Festival, an event for graphic arts and independent publications, started in 2017. Creator and manager of Respect Project - Space for the Empowerment of Immigrant Women and Artivist Call, a fundraising initiative for social causes.
Mariana Hartenthal - Cultural Researcher.
Museum specialist and curator with a PhD in Art History and a Master in Technology with over twenty years experience in the arts and culture sector in Brazil, USA, England, and now Portugal. Mariana loves meeting artists to learn about their practices and understand what makes them tick. Connecting art institutions and galleries to diverse communities is one of her passions, and she is fascinated with the intersections of art and technology, be it photography, architecture, or NFTs. Artivistās mission of bringing together artists, activists, and independent social-environmental organizations through the creative economy aligns with her interests and professional background.
We have already started the first dev works and have also conducted a survey with digital artists. Besides the technical part of development, we will also continue to research non-governmental organizations and digital activism.
Artivist is at the beginning of its development journey and our challenge now is to share this construction, involving the community to collaborate either with their expectations, longings, socio-environmental causes as pilot campaigns and above all with the user experience.
For this we are also dedicating ourselves to the marketing roadmap, to create strategies for approaching and spreading our purposes.
By August 2022 we hope to have consistent metrics in our various points of contact with the projectās stakeholders.

This is Christopher Michael (roadworks.near) from Arroz Criativo and LENS DAO (hereās our introduction).
Since Iāve been able to think, creativity has occupied the largest parts of my brain, but somehow I still managed to graduate from Humboldt University with a Masters degree in Innovations Management
I have a massive passion for design (running my own socks brand www.souvenirsthatdontsuck.pt), turntablism (check out my skills on YouTube under DJ Road Works) and last but not least photography and video for my production company CAMCAT.pt and (of course for LENS DAO). Iām a relatively sporty fellow (beachvolleyball, surfing & kite surfing) and father of an amazing 6yo.
web3 / crypto is relatively new for me. Approximately a year ago I was invited by muti DAO to shoot an aftermovie for a small festival and later live recordings of concerts. After a couple more video gigs for muti and other DAOs I was invited to become (to date) a council member of Arroz Criativo DAO by their community manager and started learning a lot about the NEAR ecosystem. I then co-founded LENS DAO, as we realized that thereās a need for footage of events, tutorials, art residencies, documentaries and alike, and after several collabs with other DAOs (Black Cat, Changa, Arroz, muti, Gardenā¦) we would love to continue offering appealing visuals to more DAOs. Since we have only been existing for 2 months, we are only now (after a bumpy month full of Covid-cases inside and outside our team) starting to get our socials organized. For examples of our work, come visit us at our TG CHAT, where we post our latest works, earlier works, making-ofs and alike. Currently we are three council members at Arroz and three at LENS DAO.

In addition to all this; I am a Visual Arts teacher, I am studying postgraduate studies in Afro-Brazilian and indigenous history and culture, I am a Cultural Producer, I have a municipal award in the Aldir Blanc Law for my cultural trajectory, I am a social educator, I have worked in the area of āāsocial projects for over 4 years old, I currently manage the marketing and advertising of a Brazilian Organic Fertilizer company and I also teach Visual Arts for 6-year-olds. I am also a painter, visionary artist, I opened the International Biennial of Visionary Art which I am currently representing at the Forró da Lua Cheia Festival in Altinópolis/SP.
Well, Iāve been working for over 4 years in the management of a womenās collective that organizes itself to combat violence against women.
Iām Brazilian, I grew up in the periphery, I studied in public school, I donāt speak English well, Iām learning.
But what I never lack is the will to work and to be able to help.

Co-founder Black Cat Cinema DAO. Vision is to bring the best of the digital to the best of the physical. Live events, real interactions, facilitated by web3 tech and community.
Golden Blue DAO was founded by Zarya Austin-Fell, Mette Slot Johnsen and Tolga Arslan.
Tolga Arslan has made a presentation elsewhere in connection with the Jazz DAO and Zarya Austion-Fell will follow suit in response to this.
Iām Mette Slot Johnsen, Iām originally from Denmark, but have lived my whole adult life in the UK In Edinburgh and London. For the past two years Iāve lived in Lisbon, in Portugal.
Iām not a very visible person on social media, the more platforms the less connected I feel, so my work and research is focused more in person interactions first and digital after.
Ironically perhaps, I studied Media & Cultural Studies in Edinburgh, with a focus on popular music and cultural studies/ sociology. I wrote my dissertation on public funding of non-classical music in Denmark.
I have worked in culture settings my whole adult life, whether in museums, cinemas, music venues and big concert halls, music for health orientated organisations etc.
With my background in media & cultural studies, I am interested in maintaining a bigger picture view as I moved into working with Live music.
This has made me work for a lot of big and small non-profit music organisations in London, exploring PR, fundraising, artist liaison, programming, producing and in between a lot of general admin work. In addition I have worked - and still do - extensively with independent live booking agencies and aspects of music festival production.
I spent the pandemic investigating better collaborative practices in cultural production and studying cultural commons as part of EU funded research projects and a summer course at the Central European University.
I was a newcomer to all things web3/ crypto/ blockchain until a year ago.
I was introduced to NEAR and NFTs etc as a resident at Arroz Studios in Lisbon, and was part of the collective effort to produce the 1st physical version of Rare Effects, I subsequently joined the Arroz Criativo DAO.
I have an interest in commons as a new economic system and as such collectives/ co-ops etc have a natural attraction to me. This is where my interest lies with Web3 and itās possibilities of financial independence and disconnection from established systems of ownership and funding.
Our highlight is of course Isodea Festival. With Golden Blue DAO and the funding from NEAR we were able to make Isodea Festival - which was founded in August 2021 by Zarya Ausin-Fell and myself - a much more ambitious project from which we will continue to work to put a spotlight on artists and areas not very well represented in live music.
We are aware that our direct contribution is a very small one at the moment, but the indirect one of inviting 26 artists and 10 or so crew to be part of creating the festival funded by NEAR, adding to that the social media posts, press and physical audience of around 150⦠We think thatās palpable and will start conversations.
Organic, off line conversations in existing scenes and environments will slowly generate a long lasting investment of time and effort into the ecosystem I think, but also to take the ecosystem offline and take into the world as a new ubiquitous technology and funding and co-creating methodology.
We will ramp up our activities across Telegram and social media in addition to starting more in person conversations about future projects.
