Title: Art Week 2022 - Homage to the 100 years of the Brazilian Week of Modern Art of 1922
History: The Week of Modern Art, also called Week of 1922, was an artistic-cultural manifestation that included presentations of dance, music, poetry recitals, exhibitions and lectures. The event, which took place in the Municipal Theater of SĂŁo Paulo, from February 13 to 18, 1922, was of great importance for Brazilian culture and a milestone of Modernism in Brazil.
Goal:
To hold an exhibition with the largest number of works inspired by the Week of Modern Art of 1922 and minted on the Mintbase-NEAR network.
To share knowledge about the WEEK 22. Encourage research on Brazilian Modern Art, movements and artists.
Timeline:
Pre-Event part 1: takes place between February 1 and 5, 2022. Production of texts talking about the event and inviting people through Discord groups, Telegram and social networks to prepare their works. Organizing and sending links and articles from participants of the Week of 1922 to help have content to inspire people. The links will be available in social networks Gambiarra for consultation and will be shared among those interested in participating in the event. In this period will also be made the poster of the event. We will encourage the use of the hashtag: #SemanaDE22 and #22MintbaseNEAR
Pre-Event part 2: happens between February 6th and 10th, 2022. Dissemination of the poster “Semana de Arte 2022 - Homage to the 100 years of the Brazilian Week of Modern Art of 1922” with a brief text talking about the event. Organization of all the links and their works for the construction of the exhibition at 3XR Space and for the production of the videos. The deadline for receiving the participating works will be February 10, 2022 at midnight.
Pre-Event part 3: takes place February 11-12, 2022. The poster “Semana de Arte 2022 - Homenagem aos 100 anos da Semana Brasileira de Arte Moderna de 1922” with a brief text about the event continues to be published. Organization and finalization of all the links and their works and the construction of the exhibition at 3XR Space starts, besides the finalization of the video production.
OFFICIAL EVENT: it happens between February 13 and 18, 2022. Exactly 100 years later (in celebration of WEEK 22) a group of artists will gather to move the NEAR Blockchain, through Mintbase, encouraging art, creating their NFTs, and spreading even more the cryptocurrency universe. During the event will be published in all social networks of Gambiarra all the links with their respective works to further encourage the sale and knowledge of the Mintbase-NEAR network. We will continue to encourage the use of the hashtag: #SemanaDE22 and #22MintbaseNEAR
Realization: to make the exhibition happen we will encourage Gambiarra store members to be inspired by Modern Art Week and what was accomplished by it at that time. The inspiration can come from the 1922 Week itself or from the dance performances, music, poetry recitals that took place, as well as the exhibitions and lectures that were held during the event. The artists and their arts that took place during the event can also be inspirations for the artists of 2022 in their honor.
A large part of this movement will take place inside the Gambiarra store and will be transmitted to members of the Mintbase-NEAR network, everyone will be invited to participate in this collective tribute. I will organize links and articles of the participants of the Week of 22 to help have content to inspire people. The links will be available on Gambiarra’s social networks for consultation and will be shared among those interested in participating.

Besides, all the movement generated by this action, the relevance of this project is to go beyond the NEAR network and bring new artists to Mintbase, showing that it is a differentiated place, where the platform that supports it cares about collective actions and encourages artists from the Brazilian community interested in NFT.

**Project: Art Week 2022 - Homage to the 100 years of the Brazilian Week of Modern Art of 1922.
** This proposal is part of Gambiarra DAO’s February Programs
A project aimed at researching and producing collective art that begins on February 1, 2022 and ends on February 18, 2022 (from the call to the collective collection of works inspired by the theme), with the theme of the WEEK 22, an event that this year marks 100 years of completion, an event which had the initiative of modernist artists and is a milestone in Brazilian Modern Art.
The tribute becomes NFT: The gathering of all visual works will become an NFT, to compose this final work a JPEG file will be produced with the list of participants’ names to be used along with the file that will become NFT.
*Dissemination: To register the homage made by the Mintbase-NEAR network through Gambiarra to the 100 years of the Brazilian Week of Modern Art of 1922, a list of participants will be organized, with name and link to the work.
Images of each publication made on the Mintbase-NEAR network will be prepared for the production of a video that will be published on the Youtube channel and COS.TV Gambiarra with a list of all participants with a link to each one’s work. In addition, an exhibition will be organized with the works at 3XR Space.

Alexandre Maciera:
Alexandre Macieira is a photographer with more than 25 years dedicated to communication. He studied social communication and his photos are in many image banks, being used by national and international media. For 10 years he was a photographer for the Rio de Janeiro Tourism Secretariat, participating in various events such as the World Cup and the Olympics. Today he is part of the communication team for the Rio de Janeiro City Hall. Always very interested in technology and internet, he met the NFT universe in early 2021 and coined 2 photographs and 10 works of the series The Glimpses of Rio on the Hic Et Nunc platform. In mid October 2021 he met the MintBase platform where through Gambiarra he has already coined 14 NFTs among photographs and works of art. In MintBase is in development the series: Fast in Rio, Flying in Rio, Gambiarra by and Sunday Churches.

Natasha Cremonese:
Brazilian Visionary Artist 2D and 3D, Art Educator, Visual Arts Teacher graduated by (UNINTER).
Post-graduate student in Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous History and Culture (UNINTER). Workshop, Multiartist, seamstress, artisan, cultural producer.
Teacher/ Art Educator of people from the second childhood to the elderly.
She has several trainings in the area of education and art, such as Social Educator courses, complementary trainings as Special Education, Teaching Transversality, Digital Painting, Conceptual Art and 3D Modeling in Revolutionary School.
She worked as an art/social educator in 4 social projects of MDSCS (Mitra Diocesana de Santa Cruz do Sul), Sol Maior Project, Cora Coralina, Santo Inácio and Querubins. Serving children, teenagers, and elderly people in social vulnerability. In addition, she has almost 3 and a half years of experience as an Art teacher at E.E.E.M. Nossa Senhora da Esperança (Santa Cruz do Sul), where she still works today.
She is one of the creators of the Women’s Collective Project, in which she maintains a support group on Whatsapp where women (cis, trans…) exchange ideas, help each other and strengthen bonds. They share and promote information about laws, debates, the lgbtq+ community, culture, art, and entrepreneurship.
At 16 she developed the Free Art Project: Projeto Arte Livre
She participated in live painting events. In the Soundvision/Serra Gaúcha Festival (2017), Psyres/SCS(2019), Origins Gathering Festival(2020) and KIZOMBAR Online Festival A festa é do Povo é Fora Bolsonaro (2020). Besides working in the Management of the Children’s Space and Workshops of the Origins Festival since 2016, running within the Festival the Free Art Project and that in the year 2020 (before the pandemic), ran together with a team of professionals, monitors and workshops, the Potý Project, which was also its creator.

She started studying digital painting in 2018, and since then has been developing works, visual identities, and is currently creating her own tarot deck with her version of the 22 major arcana. In addition to starting down the path of 3D modeling, which was a dream.
