While working with the DAO we are trying to have as much interaction as possible on-chain.
As we run monthly art competitions and projects, we wanted the community to be able to vote through Astro polls.
The idea was to set up a specific group/committee for the community to only vote on polls.
As currently, this is not possible through the UI of Astro, we needed to do some experimenting with cli.
We got help from the Astro team as well as a valuable community member throughout the process. Unfortunately, when trying to set it up, we did a mistake by missing one * and therefore no one is able to interact with the DAO anymore. We basically created a living zombie DAO, which still holds funds and members but no one is able to send proposals.
Luckily the DAO Astro did not receive the monthly budget for april yet so the locked funds are “only” about 500 USD. The council will think of a way to compensate this, as it has been done with good intentions, in order to involve the community further in the DAO decisions.
But we did not give up, created a new DAO, which will from no on be used for INA and have been able to set up the group within the DAO to vote on polls 
From now on our polls can be held fully on-chain!
The new address is Astro and you can see the 2 groups within the DAO.
We just wanted to share this with the community to be transparent and also say that experimenting sometimes has its price but is definitely worth it. It is somewhat cool to be able to break a DAO but also expand its power. Also, use testnet first for experiments.
