Hello Family! What a crazy year we had! In order to sum up the last month of this year, let me share with you the most important metrics of our discord server!
First i want to say thanks to every single member of the NEAR Community, specially to those who helped me during this year. I am super happy with all the things that we achieved together, none of what I did would have been possible without your help, im proud of this community and of this team as well, GO NEAR!
Enough words, let’s get started with the metrics 
DISCORD METRICS
As time goes by, more and more people on a daily average are joining our server. As we can see in the following graph, we averaged around 400 new users per day in the month of December, which in comparison to the other months is much better, in fact, we almost doubled the daily entry of people.
This is due to the events that the team is organizing on discord, telegram, and the huge amount of important announcements that are being made about the NEAR ecosystem. Like for example the future bridge with Cardano and Terra and many more events. We’re on the right path.
The following graph about the growth in membership is impressive, take a look at it.
We reached 34,5k MEMBERS! This is huge, we almost tripled the amount of users since i started covering Discord (July, 2021). And whats even better, is the consistency of the growth, we are growing really fast, major props to all the community squad!
When it comes to where our members are from, the US overcame all the other countries. This is something interesting, as NEAR is not listed in the main US exchanges, the US citizens still come to the NEAR ecosystem, just imagine the future of NEAR over there.
What this means, is that NEAR increased it’s reach in North America and the majority of our new members are from there!
And also, take a look at the three most used channels
#dev-support increased its message flow and thats good! More devs are joining here and asking about how to build!
