Project 2 - BeatDAO Championship Rap
This is the report of the just concluded BeatDAO Championship Rap that was held in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Number or guest artistes performed: 2 (Eskydo and Yuslove) check event video for proof
Amount paid: 50usd x 2 = 100usd (the last 50usd of the third artiste left in treasury)
Number of judges around: 3 (Lord Kenny, Ghetto Yutt and Big Jonny) 150usd x 3 = 150usd
Number of participating rappers: 6 (4 from online + 2 on the event day)
Number of finalists: 3 (ThormieJay, Vickity and Stax)
Payment to winning rappers: ThormieJay - 100usd, Vickity - 80usd and Stax - 70usd = 250usd
Event venue: 150usd (proof of venue usage on event media)
Host/Mc: 50usd
BeatDAO Event T- Shirt: 10 pieces (proof of merch creation in event media)

Total number of people present: 80 - 120 (people were coming in and out but the total number could be put at somewhere around 120 altogether)

Onboarding activities/wallet creations are still on -going and onboarded creatives are going to be carrying out musical projects in BeatDAO where they can utilize their wallets to mint NFTs BeatDAO mintbase store.

We created a google form to collect the needs of our community. This is shaping our ‘on-boarding’ process for new members as they obtain their first wallet and join the community. We are learning how Beat Dao can best serve the needs of the community.

Learning
We’ve learned that we must be leaders in web3 and pursue new opportunities beyond our borders.
Music is future forward and our design materials must match that vision and we’ve received more interest and community activity as a result
