[PROPOSAL] Onboarding new Kid / Adult creatives into the ecosystem + minting their works as NFTs

Hello :wave:,
I’m excited to introduce this big project idea that have been conceived a long time and finally ready to be brought alive.

I plan on holding this live event here in Lagos. That will discover talented kids and adults and give them the knowledge of the ecosystem and NFTs which will in turn be getting more folks into the NEAR ecosystem. This event is sure to get in at least ( 50-100 )new users into the ecosystem and also provide them with the great opportunities of NFTs.

I will employ the following steps:

(1). Onboard everyone on venue into the ecosystem —create them a new NEAR.Wallet. And send them an activation token of 0.1N to enable the wallet to be active.
(2). Creatives perform live and afterwards made ready to mint as NFTs in the C1 store and auction house respectively including their pictures.
(3). Educate the parents/guardians of these kids about the NEAR web3 ecosystem and it’s potentials.
(4). Sensitize the Amusement park staff and owner about what we are doing with Crypto and gift them a $NEAR wallet with 0.1 NEAR activation token.
(5). Maximum of 60 kids with their parents and guidance.

Budget of this event:

Parkland Amusement Park hall - $500

Kid’s dance competition bounty- $150 -$100 $50 worth of $NEAR (1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively)

Media (visuals and photos)- $250

Advert materials ( Digital handbill and banner )- $100

Deejay equipment and fee- $200

Team bounty $100 each X 4 -$400

Wallet activation token - $250

Total to actualize event —$ 1.750
Wallet activation token —$250
Total—$2000

With this approach, afterwards these creatives will then get the knowledge of how their art could inspire and be well valued, will continue creating more contents that will be minted as NFTs. And the kids will be freely given the guide and help required in keeping up their talents even as kids.

No worries, it may be helpful for others if you can show previous events, where it will be, pictures, you know people can understand always better from Art (= pics are somehow art pieces.

And yes the account will be of minimum age available to create.

Hey @Purpledots,

Thank you for the proposal. Just to clarify, the creatives DAO does not fund proposals from individuals but only other DAOs. As you have used the “createbase-dao” tag, this proposal is meant to be for the Mintbase-DAO (former Createbase DAO) ? If so, please add the “Mintbase-DAO” to reflect that :slight_smile:

there are some fundamental informations missing:

  1. WHERE is this happening
  2. What will the benefits for mintbase be?
  3. Do you already have your store on mintbase?

MintbaseDAO has been supporting several real life initiatives to onboard people.

It is really important that you activate the community beforehand, with educative content.

At the venue people will be dancing, singing, playnig football, guitar, making poetry. How will you plan the educational work?

to open a wallet you need 0.1 N not 1N. Why do they need 1N per person?

Please show me the location, the intent, the people who will participate, what exsactly you mean with welfare for creatives, who is coordinating the event.

3.423 USD is more than 60% of monthly mintbasedao budget. It is too much.

Hello @marianeu , thank you for pointing out the missing informations needed. The educational part will be fully covered through research
The event will happen here in Lagos. And for the benefit of mintbase, it’s obvious because they will be having more NFTs minted which will in turn bring many more. The 1N they needed was noted to activate their wallet but since they need 0.1 N it will help cut down the number of tokens needed for activation—100N
The store which they will be minted will be the C1 Guild store.

No. They won’t be doing all at the same time. there’s going to be hour for each activity. For the football game, they’ll be airing the recorded game. Other equipments needed will be provided by logistics.

I’m still on the search for the perfect location that fits in what’s needed to cover major parts,I will attach the photo once it’s certain. people who will participate are creatives who happen to meet this opportunity. I will encourage some of the team to join the forum and indicate.

This is the Future, I can clearly tell the much progress we’re going to make with this idea.
I’ve always waited for this, to impact the younger generation and see them explore :fist:
We await the approval and execution of this project by the governance team.
