Sundance Trans-Dimensional Crystalline Dome Build by ARC DAO
Every July the Lakota people hold The Sun Dance Ceremony, a sacred ceremony of renewal and cleansing for the people and the earth. As some of you may remember, The Kin DAO and EFAM DAO traveled to the Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota in April for Uncila Makoce Week. Since then, ARC DAO and the Lakota people have slowly built a relationship that has lead to activations this July at Sun Dance.
Project
ARC DAO will be building and transporting one of their Trans-Dimensional Crystalline Domes to provide shelter for the Sun Dance Ceremony.
Justification
After the completion of this build we plan on placing a digital version of these crystalline structures into our Primordia virtual world as a representation of the accomplishment made through the Primordia project and as an opportunity to historically and creatively document impactful, real world activations using NFTs on NEAR. We see this as an opportunity for ARC DAO to tangibly show their offerings and move towards launching themselves more sustainability. We hope that this offering to the Lakota people will further the relationship between them and Primordia (and through us NEAR) as we slowly build bridges for their communities to enter the Web3 space safely.
