Hello Creatives!

We were hoping to write this complementary introduction earlier this month but we were waiting for our fourth member. Now we’ve finally gathered our dream council! Here is a link to our intro and the council bios:

INTRO

Our community is in constant expansion and now we’ve partnered with more collectives, festivals and artists. The festival is still our main plan-we’ve just pushed it to the end of the year as we will are still confirming some of the acts.

Later moved to London where she worked with music production and film editing until 2020, but ended up choosing the Portuguese sunny life. Arts researcher, crypto preacher and sonic voyager. Moving constantly, but based in Lisbon.

Vivanja (@vivanjx)

Originally from Nova Iguaçu-Brazil, Vivanja moves between Rio de Janeiro, Paris and Lisbon building a varied career within the fields of art and history. Her investigative career began in two renowned institutions: the Museum of Modern Arts of Rio /MAM-RJ and the Museum of Image and Sound / MIS - RJ. Studied Museology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and graduated in theatre, Vivanja dedicated herself to exhibition, play productions, acting and co-directions.

In her Master in Art History at the Sorbonne Universités - Paris, 2020 researched the relations between Brazil’s said Empire, the Portuguese court and the French statuary model implemented in the end of the 19th century.

Through her journey, Vivanja connects her personal history to that of the world in movement, without losing the fixed point of her narrative : the ever changing places where she came from.

Miguel /@MiguelOliveira

Currently based in Lisbon, Miguel is oriented towards a left field way of thinking and expression. He finished his academic studies with a bachelor degree in Electronic Music and Music Production, giving him the basis to keep nourishing his interest in the sonic and digital arts. He is now associated with the Plantasialx collective as an events producer and music researcher.

Helena Inverno

Helena Inverno – Expoente M Helena Inverno - IMDb

Helena lives in Ferreira do Alentejo. She has participated in several artist residencies, in Europe, Morocco and Japan, and has a vast videographic work: animation, documentaries, educational and heritage promos, video art and for stage.

The artist has received awards in Film, Video Art Film Montage, Music and Drawing. Her works can be seen internationally in film festivals, galleries and art museums.

Fernanda Liberti https://www.fernandaliberti.com

Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, she was surrounded by the rain forest and the beach whilst also living within a chaotic metropolitan city; this contrast between the natural and man-made world is a recurring theme that she explores in her work. Her photographs, videos, and collages invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the constructed realities that they offer.

From forests and waterfalls to human bodies and surreal settings: her work is an attempt to understand our relationship to the ever-shifting environments in which we live. A study to explore post-colonial roles and experiences of people of colour, women and LGBTQ+ people in the twenty-first century.

Vandal @Vandal

Rapper, community leader and founder of VanDAO, Vandal was always ahead of his time. A true guide who led us as a collective into the web3 and currently collaborates with us broadcasting concerts from his studio at Arroz Estudios.
