Total Requested Funding Amount: 5000 usd in NEAR
Objective: The main objective of this set of projects is to build the Writer’s Guild, by starting some publishing projects on the blockchain. Our main intention is to build a collective of writers on blockchain with capability to develop projects concerning literature and academic writing, inasmuch as creative projects concerning writing in the web3. Currently, the web3 is mainly made of art, collectibles and games, but we can expand this idea, and bring academic and literature books to the NFT world, inasmuch as inusual ways of literature art.
Justification (benefits): The relevance of this set of project is precisely to make a large collective of writers using the blockchain, thus increasing the presence of the Academy in the NFT world and on NEAR. Near is a new blockchain and it would be a good step to invest in bringing writers to its marketplaces. This is also important to mintbase, given its dedication to explore the limits of NFTs, as redeemable for physical objects or services. To explore literature and academic writing at the blockchain is the next frontier to take this new technology to the masses.
Timeline: March 7st - 31th (one project expands to April)
The NEAR Protocol has seen so much activities and events arise within its ecosystem. This development can only be cognizant of the fact that the NEAR protocol is conveniently expanding and providing solutions for individuals within the web 3 ecosystem, as our NFTs, our wallets and numerous Dapps. We at the Writer’s Guild have observed these developments for a while and have decided to contribute for the NEAR Protocol towards helping it expand conveniently in areas where it is seeking more engagement and traction, which is the creation of a Writer’s Guild to have as its mission the support of writers’ projects on NEAR blockchain.
Below are the projects that the The Writer’s Guild has outlined to actualize for the month of March:
(1) To register philosophical academic books as NFTs (750 usd in NEAR) submitted by @thephilosopher
(2) To compose and record (REALITY) 3 tracks E.P album (1000 usd in NEAR) submitted by @Dedeukwu
(3) Writing fictional book (700 USD in NEAR) submitted by @Purpledots
(4) Open Astrodao (payback 50 usd in near to devochka.near)
(5) Pay social media initial development (200 usd in NEAR) submitted by @Natashacremonese
(6) Script for a webseries (800 usd in NEAR) submitted by @frnvpr
(7) Council work: 1500 usd in near equally splitted among the 9 council members: 166.66 for each, and 0.01 for the treasury.
