I. Background Information:
Introduction:
South West Near Club of Nigeria (SWNCN) is a community operating from Ibadan, Oyo State, the South West of Nigeria.
The SWNCN has been in existence since August 2023. This is a dao with the main target of educating and onboarding people within the South Western part of Nigerian into the Near ecosystem, creating wallets for them and engaging them in utilization of all near dApps.
SOUTH WEST NEAR CLUB OF NIGERIA CAMPUS TOUR IN YORUBA LANGUAGE is an event put together in the South West region of Nigeria, mainly in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria with the aim of publicizing Near across the higher institutions in local dialect (Yoruba) in order to have a deeper regional penetration.
Ibadan in the south west region is the second most populous city in Africa which has a population of about 47 million people which equals 22% of the total population of the country and the language spoken by the largest number of people living in Ibadan is Yoruba Language.
With these statistics mentioned above, spreading the gospel of Near through educating and onboarding people within the South Western part of Nigeria in Yoruba into the Near ecosystem is very important as it will enhance a huge success also creating wallets and engaging them in utilization of all near dApps can not be over emphasized.

@Officer LehLeh: He holds a Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance and also has a reputable knowledge on ICT and digital marketing.
He serves as a council and also oversees activities going on in the community. He has been in the ecosystem more than a year and he has equally added his quota to the growth of the ecosystem. He is affiliated to other DAOs such as Omega Digi-world dao.

Description:
This project is an event to be held in the University of Ibadan (UI), the first university to be established in the South West part of Nigeria and in the entire Nigeria as a nation with collaboration with the school Student Union government.
Why University of Ibadan:
-Tech Enthusiastic Community: University of Ibadan, has a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts who are eager to explore emerging technologies.
-Strategic Location: Ibadan is a hub for tech activities, making it an ideal location to host an event of this nature.
-Educational Impact: The event aligns with the university’s commitment to providing cutting-edge education.
-The execution of this project holds a higher chance for further achievements for the Near ecosystem as nothing less than 46 higher institutions of learning are presently in record in the South West part of Nigeria.
Impact:
-Onboarding new members into the ecosystem.
-Creating awareness on Near protocol
-Educating on BOS
-To grow the existence of near dApp (Near social) by pulling traffic onto it.
-Engaging the new entrant on out Telegram community for proper monitoring.
Our Main Target:
This is a tour created to serve as an outreach within the region of Nigeria to spread the Near education and increase the awareness

To initiate a campaign to bring in existing businesses running on Web2 platforms to adopt Web3 and especially Near Protocol which they can use for payment.
Target Audience
Our target audience are students in the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Expected Number of participants:
150 - 250 web users.
Expected Outcomes:

Generating a huge traffic into the ecosystem by bringing onboarding 200 and more people into the ecosystem with 10- 20 developers inclusive.

Creation of 200 new Near wallets for the new entrant.
-Close monitoring of newly created wallets in order to ensure the activeness.
-Creating more engagement on BOS and other near dApps and this will make Near Social a preferred and mostly engaged social media for all Vulnerable web 2 and web 3 users in the South Western part of Nigeria.
-Provide Community engaging contests such as NFT contests, Meme Contest Puzzle Contests

On-boarding through content creation in Yoruba Language on social media.
This a project that targets our followers on our social media handles ( Twitter and Instagram) in a way that we will on-board them in to the ecosystem as we will throw out bounties of content creation on Near ecosystem.
This is a way of carrying along our followers on social media in order not to leave then inactive about all we have been up too and to make them have the the feel involvement in the Near Protocol’ Operations.
bounties that meet specific requirements (e.g. metrics or goals) will be selected and prizes won will be paid into the newly created wallets.
The criteria to follow to join the bounties will be that the participants must have a near wallet and a near social accounts which our council members will be helping them out to create inorder to have a smooth achievements.
Contents created will be minted in mintbase store for easy access for interested person and for the future references.

10 winners will be selected from each Social media (Twitter (10) & Telegram (10) ) for each month which makes it 20 each overall.
$10 will be the prize tag for the each selected contents that have met every criteria beyond reasonable doubt.

Community Trivia:
The community Trivia project serves as one of the aggressive retention plans for the new on-boarded and the existing community members as a way to keep activeness of the community going.
Trivia will be organized as questions and answers (Quiz) on Near updates, Near dApps and generally about the near foundation.
Community members will be directed to answer the question on Near BOS as it will facilitate the increase in the usage of the Near dApp as more engagement will be done of it.
