Hey all, hope you had a great week! Ending the week with another overview on what’s happening in the NEAR Ecosystem, what’s being built on NEAR, community events, and any other interesting things around the community/ecosystem! This week I want to highlight some educational platforms on NEAR as this is an incredibly important area which facilitates people entering web3, as well as user acquisition.
Education/Learn2Earn platforms on NEAR:
- LearnNEAR Club is an all inclusive hands-on onboarding machine to NEAR Protocol. Projects can create educational content and feature it on LNC, and there is a core focus on connecting NEAR Ecosystem projects to pro-active community members via (L)Earn method.
- LazyFi is an innovative play to learn and earn platform, where they create customised educational games based on projects’ specific needs. Since their launch on mainnet earlier this year, the team has been focused on refining and developing the platform. The platform has seen 3500+ unique users, proliferation of ecosystem updates through gaming and over $3000 in rewards distributed through to the community. More importantly, LazyFi has been working closely with projects to help them understand their audience’s comprehension level and helping them adjust their messaging accordingly. LazyFi has also been closely working with a number of UK universities on grass roots initiatives and has secured some big web2 partners.
Project updates (mostly NFT & Gaming this week):
- Duel Network - a BSC project integrating NEAR - just launched Duel Soccer on NEAR! Definitely check out their portal/platform, it’s pretty awesome.
- NEAR Foundation’s recent partnership with RECUR is taking form with some awesome collections around famous IP’s on Few and Far! Have you minted yours?
- PlayMMC has just gone live with the mint of the second part of the game’s NFTs - The Undercover Pups! And there’s an added bonus: Mint a pup and claim a raffle ticket (via Sharddog) to win a special edition! If you like escape rooms & mystery games, get involved!
- QSTN QSTIE NFT holders can now claim their NFT’s digital avatar to use in the metaverse!
- Sweat Economy has just gone live with their USDT learn-to-earn campaign. This is a huge initiative poised to introduce a large audience of traditional/web2 users to a major stable coin and further onboard them into web3.
- Blockdaemon has officially integrated NEAR into their platform, enabling a much more seamless experience for institutions to stake their assets and contribute to further securing the network.

- There was an exciting Twitter Spaces last Friday with some amazing founders & contributors in the NEAR ecosystem, including - NEAR Horizon’s GM Laura Cunningham, MetaPool, Everstake, Mintbase, Aurora, NDC, CreativesDAO, Loozr! - NDC held a Constellation Summit on Thursday, and it was a great turnout! Brilliant, innovative minds are taking the near ecosystem by storm. Its purpose is to revitalise our community, fostering collaboration through roundtable discussions sparking visionary initiatives, fueling a brighter future within the NDC ecosystem.

- There is a BIG twitter spaces lined up today on the NEARProtocol Twitter where Lady of Crypto and Oleg, founder of Sweat Economy, will unpack what Sweat Economy is all about, what’s in the pipeline, advice for founders building in this rapidly evolving industry, and more! Definitely tune in!
- On June 28th Mintbase will be hosting a DemoDay showcasing the great projects that have come out of the Mintbase Grants Program!
