After participating in the recent 1TA hackathon, we had an opportunity that turned into a learning experience we think others here might relate to.
We built a AI prototype for a DEX project during the hackathon and ended up winning both their track and the Bitte.ai track. After the event, we followed up with the project team to share what we’d built. That conversation led to something more meaningful: they were in a transition phase, and their original dev team was stepping away. They needed help maintaining the project and exploring how to bring AI-based features into their product.
Since then, we’ve been supporting them on a monthly retainer handling ongoing maintenance, fixing issues, and working on new AI-driven features (like agent integrations and Near Intents integration etc). It’s been a smooth and rewarding partnership.
That experience made us realise there may be other NEAR projects in a similar place:
- You’ve built something valuable, but the original team has shifted focus.
- You want to explore AI enhancements or agent interfaces.
- You just need reliable hands to help keep things running and evolving.
If that sounds like your situation, we’re open to contributing as maintainers or AI support partners. We’re already part of the NEAR ecosystem, have worked on NEAR grant projects (especially with Mintbase), and care about building long-term, stable solutions.
We’re a small team, and we work lean happy to collaborate even on minimal retainers if that helps sustain meaningful projects in the ecosystem.
