I would be correct to say that April/May has been the most difficult period for our DAO. We’ve faced quite a number of politically motivated attacks, proxy attacks and series of needles scrutiny and questioning, it’s been hard but we’ve done what women across societies, civilization and culture has been taught to do “suck it up and keep moving”. Within the DAO, I have multiple responsibilities being the council member that commits the most time, below are responsibilities and tasks I executed in April/may.
As Council:
•Attended all 8 regular council meetings and some emergency syncs.
•Attended 8 community weekly meetings.
•revised and evaluated 11 proposals
• compiled both may and June proposals
•drafted DAO reports
• Adjusted and published proposal based on feedback from HOM.
• Handled DAO financial operations (onchain proposals, swaps, transfers, retroactive bounty request collection)
•attended 7 meetings with grant applicants
• attended all meetings with lawyers for DAO registration.
As education lead:
I’ve kept up with our Shefi collaboration especially the onchain task that is still running to provide assistance and guidance to participant and distribute rewards
As DAO KYC facilitator
I provide KYC related assistance to all grants and bounty recipient which involves quite a lot of people due to the structure of our DAO bounty system.
I correspond with Andreas to understand missing documents especially for people going through manual verification.
Assisted in community moderation.
Vetted and accepted all new members who requested to join the DAO.
Created and coordinated design bounties for community activation and engagement.
Provided weekly update on NDC affairs to our community during weekly calls.
As point of contact:
I’ve managed DAO relationship with Congress to the best of my ability.
Provided clarity and answer to questions.
Thank you for keeping up with She is Near DAO and for your support
