Project Name: Near Pakistan

Project Intro

The Near Pakistan project aims to drive adoption and awareness of NEAR Protocol within Pakistan through a comprehensive educational initiative. Our goal is to onboard new users, guide them in creating wallets, and empower them to confidently engage with web3 technologies. Through education, gamification, and outreach to non-blockchain communities, we seek to demystify NEAR Protocol, strengthen community connections, and contribute to the growth of the NEAR ecosystem in Pakistan.

We had an online event with Google Developer Students UET KSK Campus where 276 Computer Science Students and Developers Participated Check Below Details of Event

  • Distributed Certificates with Participated Students
  • Did LinkedIn premium Giveaway for Students
  • Globe DAO Council Member @iamanansari was also speaker and talked about Near Protocol Funding Process to web3 Developers
  • Announced Sponsorship for Final Year Students doing Computer Tech Related Degree

Our Future Plans

  • Developer Session with Web2 Developer to shift them to Development On Near Protocol

  • Sponsor student Final Year Project to encourage them to build on near

  • Start Full Near Protocol Guide for students ( two to three guides per month online sessions in the future)

  • Announcing Partnerships and Doing Sessions and Bootcamps in Different Universities across Pakistan(both online and offline)

  • When we get like more than 50 Developers we will build our own project on Near (Web 3 Game, NFT marketplace, Depin Project etc) as a whole project from Near Pakistan

  • Using our platform to help students in Soft Skills as well also in General skills which follows industry trends( Linkedin session, CV Sessions , Councling and other general skills)

  • We have a lot of potential in this region specially in Web3

Summary:
We Completed all our KPI’s for April 2024 , and hopefully we can achieve our May KPI’s as well.
