Updated Project Timeline

Highlights:

  • December was the first month in which we received support from the Marketing Vertical and the goal was to receive more followers and interaction on all of our channels, which worked out in almost all of them. (details below)

Metrics: (goal: 5 new followers per week/20 per month)

  • Instagram: Our Instagram page not only reached the goal but it completely surpassed it. We got 129 new followers which represents 44,6% more than in the same period of the previous month. We were publishing 3 to 4 posts each week and at least one story a day.

  • Twitter: Our channel received 62 new followers until the end of December and we have retweeted regularly about projects, NEAR and the ecosystem.

  • Telegram: Our muti TG group received 20 new members. We also started our weekly community call on Telegram. We regularly inform everyone about what the DAO is up to as well as opportunities in the NEAR ecosystem, collaborations etc.

  • Facebook: The main goal with our Facebook page is to promote our physical events and streams. During the month of December some of the scheduled events were unfortunately cancelled by artists and this reflected on our metrics. We had less page views and we did not reach the 5 followers per week goal. Despite this, our Facebook page still showed significant general growth compared to the previous month.

  • Youtube: We received 5 new followers, the goal of 5 per week has unfortunately not been achieved. We had planned to upload the original content (no DJ sets due to the copyright policy of Youtube) from our weekly muti.on sessions. Due to the cancellation of 2 artists we we’re only able to work with DJ sets this month, therefore we had not enough content to upload, so less followers have been reached.

    Assuming a WORDPRESS site to allow for further expansion with an ELEMENTOR builder for simplicity.

    Elementor Pro: Included with build cost (1 year)

    Total Setup Costs: 157 USD (+ design and content)

    This would then renew at roughly 171 USD per year (for domain and site hosting).

Learnings:

  • We realized the necessity of having different goals for each of our social media channels. Especially for Facebook and Youtube which are platforms where the content has to be adapted considering their specific audiences.

  • Having someone dedicated specifically to manage our social media channels obviously allowed us to have a much more active and consistent presence on all platforms which reflected on the metrics. This will also allow us to better curate content for each one of them.

  • During the month of December we put up two ads on Facebook and Instagram to promote the open call for the artist residency we are hosting in January and it clearly had a huge positive impact on our social media growth. We definitely plan on continuing to use these tools.

Next Steps:

  • We are planning on growing slowly but steadily. The next steps will be starting to have the landing page of the website ready and online by the end of the month, including links to NEAR, our Mintbase store and events.

  • We had one meeting with Minting Music as well as the Flying Rhino Guild. We connected one of the website developers with Minting Music and are looking forward to working with Flying Rhino from January on, especially to promote the NFTs in our Mintbase store.

    17 USD/2.5N left which will be used for ads in January

  • Youtube management: dafdn.near - 20 USD/ 3N - 20 USD left
    Due to missing content this amount will be used to manage the content in January

  • Website development: edenf.near - 150 USD/ 23N - paid (host & provider will be paid this week)
