Greetings Creatives,

May has been a month full of learning and wonderful collaborations. We have accomplished much, connected with wonderful folks and are manifesting left and right. This NEAR experience is presenting a sharp learning curve for us and we are confidently meeting challenges and seeking/receiving support from our IRL and NEAR community. While some of our milestones will carry over to June, we are inspired by our learning, growth and progress!

Project 1: NFT Pollinator Garden Gallery May Milestones

Project 2: Pollen Nation Metaverse on Nearhub
This has been an ambitious project for us and we have learned so much in the process of organizing the event. We have accomplished so much and are still waiting on a few key details before we can have our softlaunch, and are very close to setting the date.

  • Received and processed performer’s/djs audio and/or video files and forwarded to Nearhub team
  • Curated art submissions and organized into spreadsheet and linktree for Nearhub
  • Coordinated with Nearhub team
  • Paid out artists/locked their payment as USN on ref.fi until they are ready to receive it
  • Created a document showing them the method I was taught to exchange NEAR to fiat How I Exchange NEAR for Fiat
  • Created dandelions Tamago account

Project 3: Dandelions and Honeybees Supports Soul Flower Farms:

Highlights:

May is our third month in the NEAR experience and we have learned so much. We have developed working relationships with people in the NEAR community and have deepened connections with community that we are collaborating with IRL. The learning curve has been steep, but our tech skills and web3 knowledge have grown exponentially. It has been rewarding to be able to support and witness the growth of the folks that we have introduced to NEAR.

Learnings

This has been a great month of learning project management and recognizing how to establish achievable milestones. Much of our attention was dedicated to cultivating our Pollen Nation Metaverse and the softlaunch. Patience has been a wonderful asset to witness and cultivate while we coordinate with the performers and developers and we are so appreciative for everyone’s amazing effort.

We did make strides with our other projects, but some of our action items took a back burner. We look forward to picking up where we left off in June, specifically regarding out 3XR Create Gallery. We had some tech issues with our computer and were not able to create the Satori NFT drop, but we’ll work on that in June.

We remain so appreciative of the support that we have received and would honestly be at a loss if it was not for the generous support that @tabear continues to offer us. We have started using Ref.fi and have wrapped NEAR and converted it to USN to lock in the funds for our performers until they are ready to exchange it for fiat in the volatile market. It was a seamless process. And then there’s the Nearhub team. We can’t express our appreciation enough! You RRROCK!

There are so many things that we would like to accomplish and learn and are excited that we are expanding our team of affiliates, so that we can learn and manifest collectively. It’s been amazing to collaborate with both old and new friends. The synchronicities are affirming and validating. We’re looking forward to sharing some developments in our June proposal.

Accounting:

  • We have either locked in the funds or paid out the designated funds for our performers
  • The requested funds for our 3xr galleries will be used in June to cultivate the space

Next Steps:

In June we will:

  • Have the softlaunch of Pollen Nation Metaverse on NEAR Hub!!!
  • Cultivate our 3xr Space Gallery
  • Curate the submissions for our May bounty
  • create Satori NFT drops
  • Build out strategies of moving towards self-sustainability

Certainly! I am with dandelions-and-honeybees.sputnik-dao.near, where we focus on the bringing light to the plight of the pollinators and 9ines.sputnik-dao.near, where we support DAOs and individuals in learning NEAR and tap into existing resources, tutorials and opportunities. We’re still new to NEAR and so happy to be here. Looking forward to being a learner in the NEAR certified creatives classes.
