Greetings Good People!
Our inaugural month has been busy as we immersed ourselves in exploring/learning the NEAR ecosystem, learning how to onboard members into our DAO and onto NEAR protocol, and collaborating with folks to help them set up their own DAO. We are incredibly thankful for the amazing support from @adrianseneca Primorida DAO, @tabear Muti DAO, @rimberjack OFP and @marianeu Mintbase DAO! We are excited to have met most of our March milestones.
Our DAO now has a council of 3:

Onboarding:
- We have onboarded our first two people onto NEAR protocol and have two people in the wings
- We facilitated the creation of two new DAOs: Grandeur DAO (grandeur.sputnik-dao.near) and Reggaeisbiggathanmusic DAO (reggae-is-bigga-than-music.sputnik-dao.near)
- We are excited to be in conversation with a couple creatives who are receptive to learning about NEAR and have large followings and anticipate onboarding them and facilitating creating their DAOs in May.
- Systematized onboarding and navigation tool: We spent a good amount of time conceptualizing how to streamline onboarding and support newcomers as they learn and navigate the ecosystem. Designing the system is more time intensive than we anticipated, so we are still in the design process, but are making much progress. Our founding member Anushka drafted a 16-page document outlining this vision as part of a fellowship application with NEAR University
NFT Pollinator Garden Exhibit

We have set up our Mintbase Store (dandelionsmintbase1.near) which has yet to be populated and have created an account with NEAR Hub, where we plan to eventually host our NFT Pollinator Gallery/ event. We are also looking into Cryptovoxels

We have been in communication with the designer of a SOTA gallery that we really like and anticipate collaborating with them to manifest our vision for the Pollinator Gallery

We have designed 3 NFTs so far and will offer a bounty of $50 to up to 10 artists to design NFT art for our gallery. We have submitted an additional proposal to Mintbase to fund the bounty ([PROPOSAL] To Fund Bounty for 10 NFTs on Dandelion’s Mintbase Store)
Infographic NFTs, Pollinator Pledge:
- We are still in the process of drafting copy for the infographic NFTs and Pollinator Pledge as our other goals of learning NEAR, onboarding members and establishing DAOs took precedence. As this is our passion, we will prioritize this activity for the month of April
Digitally document NEAR Journey:
- Anushka has been keeping a detailed journal documenting her learning process and created a bookmarks folder with an extensive and growing list of sites relevant to NEAR
Support local bee-friendly projects:
Hive Transfer Photo Collage and Video (click link to view short video)
- Anushka was over the moon to be able to support a local beekeeper with a hive transfer
- We have ordered the veils and the natural sting support and are awaiting their arrival
- We are in conversation with other beekeepers to support them on a regular basis as well
Anushka is in the process of training the new members of Dandelions and Honeybees DAO and is planning Onboarding Events with them for the month of May.
