It has been a great ride so far working as the Point of Contact and Community Relations Council member with the African DAO.
Before the approval of the DAO till date, I have been working from the community aspect of things to get us on the go. My responsibilities are:
- Draft DAO Proposal and report
- Onboard Regional Communities
- Manage Regional Communities
- Set goals and KPIs for Regional communities
- Vet proposals to the DAO.
Below are the major results I pulled for the DAO.
- Onboarded Ghana community
- Onboarded Rwanda community
- Onboarded Uganda Community
- Together with @Bakaka , onboarded the NEAR North Africa Community.
- Onboarded the NEAR Zimbabwe community
- Onboarding Draft for RCs
These results were pulled up after a series of calls with the new leads. 12 calls in total.
Also, I am responsible for workshops with community leaders. These workshops are to help them understand how to use certain tools in the ecosystem to make community building easy for them. We have held 4 calls so far.
