Report for the month and year: AUGUST 2022
Proposed objectives: Delivery final reports for SoundSplash, creation of DAORecords Brand guides, PDF template and branding adjustments.

Accomplished objectives:

  • 1-on-1 interviews with all Soundsplash artists completed except for 2 artists due to conflicting schedules. Will follow up with them to be able to deliver the final surveys / report by September 2022.

*Worked with Lena to fine tune design and brand standard for DAORecords.

  • Providing feedback from Artists & Soundsplash participants of their web and interface experience.

  • Meeting via zoom to ensure that branding guide is reflected in Website and dashboard design.

  • Scheduling steps for working with Lena: 1. Feedback & site userbility 2. Logo design & brand standards 3. Development of content that reflects website and brand standards.

*Attended M1NTED Asia NFT conference at KL Pac, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with @vandal and @Sleezy_Moss

  • Back up documentation and photos of the event and Vandal’s keynote “Reinventing the Music Industry” and planning future social content with the images and video.

Summary: August will be the month for me to re-cap with each of the artist to detail the pros and cons from Soundsplash toward a best practice guide for future Soundsplash events as well as DAOrecords events. The focus will be on the challenges of on-boarding and the follow up of how artists can continue participating and growing with NEAR and in the web3 space.

Summary:

August was a lot of follow up with artists, guiding them through the final steps of SoundSplash (ie: DAORecords Membership, Splash Tokens), filling out feedback survey and doing personal 1 on 1 sessions with them on what they found effective or challenging during their SoundSplash experience.

What to Expect in September

  1. Final report for SoundSplash from A&R interviews with the artists and create working document for future outreach packages and

  2. Creating Brand Guide and Standards for DAORecords

  3. Edits and tweaks for DAORecords logo so that there are usable files with colour, size and horizontal / vertical options.

  4. Meetings with Lena for development of site usability and aesthetic.

  5. Editing and creating additional content for social media.

6 Touch base with team meeting regarding what visuals and engagement content is needed for upcoming fund raising efforts.
