Section 7. DAO/Project Charter/White or Litepaper and Goals

  • Project Overview: Presentation with a short High-Level 6 bullet points summary:

Please see the linked PDF here for the ELEVENS pitch deck which covers the mission, vision, project plan etc.

A short bullet point version of the project is below:

  • The idea behind ELEVENS is to meet a passionate web2 audience in a space they are comfortable and appreciate i.e. cricket and sports collectables
  • Users can start their web3 experience without needing to onramp any fiat – free daily mints allow an “inboarding” experience
  • At the same time the power of web3 is harnessed as collectables are provably owned and value is created in an entirely digital manner
  • The free / low cost approach and potential for huge economic gains allows massive levels of onboarding and a user base that can be later monetized in numerous ways by building out from the initial product wedge

We are requesting USD 25.2k which will fund the building phase of the project.

  • What Problem Are You Aiming to Solve?

We are planning to create the elusive project that “onboards the masses”. This is a high ambition but it is realistic given the cost of our NFTs, the relatable content and the target audience.

  • DAO/Project Charter;

Please see the linked ELEVENS pitch deck here.

  • How can your DAO / Project achieve NDC priorities, goals, and KPIs?

ELEVENS is a strong fit for the NDC priorities and fits into many of the funding categories including:

  • Widening adoption of NEAR
  • Outreach to new audiences
  • Gaming
  • NFT
  • Regional development

More specifically, in terms of Near Digital Collective Priorities, ELEVENS will be fully aligned to priority “P-1: Widening Adoption of NEAR” and the following detailed priorities:

“P-1.1: Outreach to New Audiences” - there are 2.5 billion cricket fans globally which is our target audience. In terms of countries the project is targeting primarily India (population 1 billion) and other emerging markets which are proven to be strong crypto adopters. Secondary targets include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa. This is clearly a new and very attractive audience to NEAR.

“P-1.2: Onboard Successful Projects” – ELEVENS is a collectibles project which is mentioned as an example project in the “Entertainment” category.

Using account abstraction, we intend to create user experience similar to Web2 thus enabling the onboarding of a huge number of users. Our project will deliver high impact on the NEAR Digital Collective KPIS as follows:

KPI 1 - Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)

Metrics over 1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks will vastly improve due to our project which has a target audience of 2.5 billion cricket fans. An extremely low 0.01% conversion rate would lead to 250,000 new NEAR accounts. We expect and aim much higher than this conversion rate. We expect that these accounts will open and remain active on an ongoing basis due to the daily free minting which we have built into our plan.

KPI 2 - Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)

The cost of acquisition is expected to be extremely low. With a development budget of USD 25.2k and 250,000 new accounts the cost of acquisition would be 10 cents per account. We expect a much higher account number and therefore lower cost of acquisition.

KPI 4 - Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)

As explained regarding KPI number 1, we expect to retain our accounts and have them minting NFTs on a daily basis. In the medium term we will offer education on the blockchain aspects of the project to our users and offer opportunities for them to extend their use of NEAR to other dApps e.g. DEXs. This impact of ELEVENS will clearly spill over to other dApps and positively impact this KPI.

KPI 5 - Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.

We will push hard on SoMe towards our target audience in the channels which create the most opportunities for our project. This will likely have a high impact on social engagement for NEAR in the long term.

  • Roadmap of your DAO/project, Milestones, and achievements

Please see this link for the ELEVENS pitch deck.

Section 8. Budget

  • Projected Budget for the next three months (In USD for each Task/Milestone)
  • Links to Similar Proposals from Near Foundation, existing GDAOs, Near ECO (if applicable)
  • What is the length of Commitment to Delivering Your Project? Will your team be working on this project full-time?

Tjh.near will be steering the project. The development team will be working full time on the project to meet the planned deadlines.

  • Will your team be fully renumerated from this budget?

The requested budget will cover the development costs of the project. Tjh.near will draw no income from this budget and does not seek any income from the funding.

Section 9. Project/DAO longevity

  • Does your project/DAO require one-time or continuous funding?

Potentially a combination. In this request we are seeking one time funding to set up the project but once the project is live we plan to allow users to mint NFTs on a daily basis for free and therefore ongoing assistance with NEAR tokens to fund the free mints is an area of support we would like to explore once the project gains traction. We do not seek this ongoing assistance funding now – we would like to prove the concept works and then come back for further discussions.

  • Will your DAO/Project device way of sustaining itself after this round of funding?

Please see previous answer. We expect to be self funded in the mid term when we monetize the user base and will not require any further funding.

  • What are the possible roadblocks to the success of your project/DAO?

The main concern right now is to build the project in a way that can scale exponentially. We are planning for and anticipate massive growth and it is critical we are able to handle this scale when it arises.

I am happy to see people like @tjh wants to build on Near. He has been true supporter of Near ecosystem and NFT vertical since long time, active in communities. Would like to see latest details of your project, can you add pitch deck @tjh ? Also @NearverseLabs team lead by @Punter.near has already great contributions to Near and they are building across other chains.

Dear all

As my account is new on this platform at this stage I can only post once a day and no "“at"s”, no attachments and no embeds… so I will try to answer all in one post!! The pitch deck will be attached ASAP when I am allowed to on this forum.
