Metrics of Evaluation

  1. User Onboarding and Retention: Our primary goal is to maintain a high retention rate of 80% for users eight weeks post-onboarding. To achieve this, we should focus on creating compelling reasons for users to remain active within the ecosystem, such as providing continuous education on NDC governance, BOS, and showcasing ongoing projects. A sense of community and value within the ecosystem is essential for keeping users engaged long-term.
  2. Cost-Efficient Growth: To scale our user base sustainably, we aim to reduce the account acquisition cost to under 5 USDC. This involves optimizing our marketing strategies and leveraging organic growth channels to attract new users more cost-effectively.
  3. Diverse dApp Engagement: We want to ensure that our efforts translate into active participation across the ecosystem. A target has been set for at least 60% of users who have been with us for more than a week to interact with multiple dApps. This not only indicates a healthy level of engagement but also the utility and interconnectedness of our dApp environment.
  4. Boosting Social Presence: We’re looking to amplify our online presence by increasing our social engagement score. Aiming for a 20% rise in social metrics like posts, likes, and followers/views over the next month will help us to reach a wider audience and foster a more vibrant community dialogue.

  1. BOS Building

  1. Onboarding Initiatives
  • Dynamic Community Management (Telegram): Onboarding new users while managing the community.
  • Onboarding & Engagement via Keypom Initiative: A multi-faceted initiative focused on user onboarding. Funding for Near.Social active posting event: 200 USDC

Results from Previous Initiatives

Our recent event, β€œNEAR Korea DAO Social Community, BOS Development Event with IamHuman authentication,” showcased our capabilities:

  • Over 20 BOS proposals from Korea University students.
  • Votes from over 1,000 community members on these submissions.
  • Over 5,000 posts curated and shared on NearSocial.
  • Over 10,000 on-chain transactions, indicating active community engagement.
  • Over 38 users adopted the IamHuman authentication.

This demonstrates our commitment to our core values, our ability to iterate based on feedback, and the potential for future growth.

Hi @so608! Thank you for your response.

Here’s how we plan to track diverse dApp engagement:

  1. Educational Content Engagement: Analyze user interaction with educational materials and their impact on dApp usage.
  2. AMA Sessions Impact: Monitor AMA session attendance and assess their influence on dApp interactions.
  3. Near Social and BOS Participation: Track user involvement in Near.social activities and BOS building, linking this to dApp usage.
  4. 24/7 Support System Effectiveness: Evaluate the support system by analyzing resolution times, user satisfaction, and its impact on dApp engagement.
  5. Rewards System Influence: Implement tracking for rewards distribution and redemption, focusing on participation in Near.social activities, BOS building, and dApp usage.
  6. User Engagement Analysis: Study how rewards affect user behavior, including increased dApp usage and new user onboarding.
  7. Feedback and Adjustments: Utilize user feedback to improve the rewards system and make data-driven adjustments.
  8. Partnership Impact: Assess the effects of collaborations with NEAR ecosystem partners on user engagement and rewards utilization.

Thank you for your proposal.

Since we are now in V1 and Globe DAO is one of the approved GDAOs, it is a good idea to contact and align with their POC.

I doubt MDAO will support RCs in V1 because funds have been allocated to it through Globe DAO, but i don’t know what the council decision is on this.

Thank you for the responds. GDAO is set to go live in January, and we are hopeful that MDAO will be able to support RC’s proposal based on December’s activities.

Hi @CoinEasy thanks for the proposal. Now that we are officially in V1 as of the recent announcement, I’m advising regional communities to transition funding requests to Globe DAO. The funding review period looks like it will begin the first week of January.

Hi @so608 ,

Thank you for your update regarding the transition of funding requests to Globe DAO starting in January. We appreciate the guidance and look forward to aligning with the new process.

We would like to bring to your attention that Near Korea DAO has already organized community activities and partnership events for December. In light of this, we kindly request if it would be possible to receive support from Marketing DAO for our December initiatives. Following this, we are more than willing to transition our funding requests to Globe DAO as advised.

We believe this support would greatly benefit our current efforts and seamlessly bridge our transition into the new funding structure.

Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts.

Hi @CoinEasy thanks for your proposal. I would just like to echo the advice from @so608 regarding the transition of regional projects to Globe DAO. Due to limited funding this month unfortunately we are unable to provide support during December.
