[Proposal] The Cook With Near Event
As part of our agenda to contribute to growing the Near web3 space, we are proposing the “Cook With Near” event.
SUMMARY
The Cook With Near Event is a Culinary DAO experiment where some of the young chefs and cooks in Ondo State, Nigeria will be gathered under one roof, educated about Web 3, Near Protocol (including how to open a wallet, how to mint NFTs on Mintbase, Auction, etc.) and finally, challenged in a unique cooking competition.
The event will consist of an eclectic blend of Near education, unique cooking competition and entertainment.

The Education
An exposition on Near in the form of a workshop will be given where the benefits of Web 3 and Near in particular will be discussed. The participants will be shown how to open wallets, etc., thereby onboarding them.
There will be a short AMA session where questions will taken and answered.
The Cooking Competition
The highlight of the event will be the cooking competition. 10 NFT registration tickets will be sold on Mintbase. Only those who purchase this NFT tickets will be eligible to compete in this cooking competition.
Modality
- The same seemingly mismatched and random cooking ingredients will be presented to all the contestants. They will have 45 minutes to come up with unique meals before the live audience.
3 winners with the most delicious and impressive meals will be awarded prizes
Our target attendance is between 20 to 35 people.
The winning recipes and meals will be minted as NFTs. Others will get consolation prizes such as Near customised aprons, etc. This merchandise will also help with continuous publicity of Near.
This event will be premiered on Nearhub and our YouTube channel.
