Happy New Year everyone!
A belated December update from our side. Here are some key stats:
- Published NEARWEEK #33, #34, #35, #36 and #37
- Monthly unique visitors +2000.
- Increased newsletter subscribers to +2500. Currently an average open rate of +30%.
- Received more than 300 news submissions (payout proposals) from Dec. 1 - 31, of which +140 made it to the newsletter.
- Current Telegram count is 920 members.
- New website and newsletter design currently being built. Once ready NW will start to actively market both web and newsletter.
- Had development and feedback talks with @starpause @chronear @Ozymandius @Aria @Gus @Grace @Matt_Hussey @jefedeoro and AwesomeNEAR.
- Setup DAO on Better testnet version (content bounty platform) Better
- Started working on automating the creation and curation of NW newsletter. We want to incorporate the newsletter workflow in a dApp, where curators and editors are rewarded for their effort. This would enable projects of all sizes to launch their own newsletters and engage their communities even more. Spill over effects of the dApp would be an upvoting smart contract which could have multiple application possibilities in the NEAR eco.
- Started a new DeFi publication series in collaboration with @Aria which we’re looking very much forward to: DeFi On NEAR Protocol.
