Projects & highlights
Despite delays, it’s still been a great month overall! The shows at Santos and Arroz have continued to be a hit!
Open-air cinema at Arroz Estudios
Every show has gone ahead, as planned, and with the new seating capacity we’re able to drive more traffic through the doors, and have finally hit our targets!
We hosted a Korean theme night for the film Minari , and the Korean embassy kindly donated a gift to a winner in the audience.
New shows and expanding audience reach. Vol II.
Our first full month at the new venue has been incredible. A full house each night and two pre-show gigs from Foggy Project and Ugi. Every show has gone ahead, and the audience numbers don’t show any sign of slowing down!

• Poster artwork displayed with NEAR name and information at physical cinema events. Announced on Instagram quoting NEAR, NEAR Foundation, and NFT artwork to 5500 followers.
Result: Due to funding, we haven’t been able to do the physical display. However, the competition was completed and all the artists were able to claim their bounties in the last couple of days. We were still able to mint all the winning entries into NFTs, and they have now been given their moment of fame alongside the NEAR name on our Instagram everyone is given the option to buy the NFTs on our Mintbase store 
• NEAR name and brand exposed on-screen to 300 people in Santos.
Result: Dead on target, with a total event capacity of 299 and the NEAR logo up there in front of all of them
Metaverse: Digital representation of Black Cat shows on the metaverse on 28 & 30th August. Hosted by Muti’s Nearhub.
As mentioned, we’ve had to push this back to the 19th. But this will make a spectacular show, with the live musicians and visual animated story on the big screen.
We’ve also finally rounded up our poster artwork competition, and the winners have now been able to claim their rewards in NEAR and their work, along with NEAR and their NFT sale have been advertised to almost 7,000 via Instagram.
Anything else the Creatives DAO Council should know?
As mentioned, the timing has been a fairly big issue with the funding, so hopefully the accounting above makes it clear to the mods what the remaining funds were given for, why they are still in the DAO, and how they will be used. We hope to have all of the proposals and payouts that are overdue complete by this Sunday.
