The Cypherpunk Guild is looking for collaborators to publicize its grants program. The CPG’s priority is to give grants to developers with projects enhancing digital privacy, preferably in the NEAR ecosystem.
To get the word out about its grants program, the Cypherpunk Guild suggests various publicity activities:
Write and publish an article (e.g. on Medium). Content could be original (especially if you have specialist knowledge), but also just commentary on news or other articles, linking them to the CPG and NEAR. Showing problems where we offer solutions. The piece must be accurate and on-message for the CPG to put its name on it, but you have a lot more flexibility if you publish it somewhere under your own name. And we need that—not just talk from us, but about us.
Write and publish a tweet, thread, or series on Twitter or Mastodon, illustrating one or more aspects of privacy and informational self-determination, and mentioning cypherpunks, the Cypherpunk Guild, and/or NEAR as offering the solution.
Create and publish a meme, illustrating one or more aspects of privacy and informational self-determination and mentioning cypherpunks, the Cypherpunk Guild, and/or NEAR as offering the solution.
Create a graphical design suitable for web banners or swag, illustrating one or more aspects of privacy, informational self-determination, cypherpunks, the Cypherpunk Guild, and/or NEAR.
Privacy Project Outreach:
Find privacy projects that would be good to have on NEAR, and either
- encourage them to build their project on NEAR,
- encourage someone else to build a similar project on NEAR
The project needs collaborators who have experience in content creation, namelly people with great writing skills, background in memes creation, or graphic design.
Experience in marketing and social media is welcome as well.
Moreover, the Cypherpunk guild is searching for collaborators who have skills in privacy technologies.
