The objective of this proposal is to establish a Web3 artist community in India by creating a platform for artists, designers, creators and developers to come together and explore the possibilities of building on NEAR
We want to leverage our existing networks in Radio, media, Art & Design Institutes & colleges and among established artists to bring them under one umbrella and educate them to build on NEAR.
Why team is best for the funds
- One of the greatest strengths of our team is its diversity. Our five member core team comprises a radio jockey, an architect, an artist, a photographer, and a digital media expert. We bring a wealth of different perspectives and experiences to the table.
- Our radio jockey brings strong communication skills and a vast network of connections , while our architect brings a creative eye and a deep appreciation for aesthetics. Our creative strategist knows how to use various strengths to our advantage and the photographer brings in an in depth understanding of visual arts. Last but not the least, the youngest member of our team knows how to best use social media to our advantage.
- Together, our team has the ability to think creatively, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing circumstances.
RJ Tarun
A Radio Professional with an experience of over a decade and the host of the popular Radio Show, Good Morning Pune. Tarun also hosts a dedicated show which airs all across the country where he interviews independent artists from India and beyond. Tarun also has a keen interest in visual arts, photography and filmmaking.
Ar Bhavana Chinchwade
Bhavana is an Architect, A professor and an accomplished visual artist. She is the founder of “The Tree - An Architecture and Landscape Design Company” which has worked on numerous projects all over the country.
Medha Roy
Medha is an engineer who loves tech and art both equally and has a knack for creating thought provoking artwork. Medha works as a Creative Strategist at an Indian MultiNational.
Samiksha Bindal
Samiksha is a commerce student from MIT Pune who is working with a creative agency. Her work allows her to express her creative side and develop her skills in design and marketing. Outside of her professional pursuits, Samiksha also loves dancing and is an avid performer, showcasing her talent on stage whenever she can. Her diverse interests and talents make her a well-rounded and dynamic individual.
Akash Chavan
Akash is a budding photographer and works with a Pune based company as an assistant of Photography. Beyond his work with the camera, Akash also has a strong interest in music and enjoys playing and listening to a variety of genres. He is also keenly interested in event management and enjoys organising events and creating memorable experiences for others. With his diverse set of skills and interests, Akash is a dynamic and creative individual who brings a unique perspective to everything he does.

What is the DAO’s goal or objective?
The objective of this proposal is to establish a Web3 artist community in India by creating a platform for artists, designers, creators and developers to come together and explore the possibilities of building on NEAR
- Roadmap
Month 1:
- Two events in Design schools and Art institutions (Arena Institute Pune & Indira Institute Pune) and aim to on-board at least 50 members every month.
- Hold community meet-ups to keep them updated on what’s happening and the future plans of the community.
- Have a design-a-thon every month where the best ideas and art works get recognition and gratification.
Month 2:
- Bring in Near experts & celebrated artists to meet our community members and hold sessions and workshops to help them improve their skills once a month
- Have community members on air on Radio ONE Pune to talk about the web3 ecosystem and the opportunities it brings for the future.
- Start building a stronger social media presence with community generated content to bring in a larger audience to the artwork that our community members create.
Month 3:
- Hold a live painting event in Pune where our artists collaborate to paint a wall and create a mural and invite some eminent citizens to be a part of it. Creatives DAO and NEAR to be integrated in the mural
- Hold an art exhibition where we showcase the art created by our community members and make it available for sale for visitors.
Month 4:

Organise “Brainstorm workshops” for communities to identify areas of growth and development.

Create retroactive bounty based programs developments agreed upon and voted on by the community.

How is the longer term goal divided into milestones making the DAO reach there?
Longer term goals are a part of the roadmap as mentioned above.
