can you share your public Account ID please? so that I can check the account status and signed keys on the explorer.
I recommend you restoring the wallet on another browser and trying again same steps.

I can now use my wallet after I disabled the bothersome 2FA.
After 1 hour of struggling, I decided that I could do with a little less security.
When I’m feeling up to it again, I will definitely try restoring the wallet on another browser just like you advised.
