Brief Summary:
- We are currently building the framework for a highly detailed community-driven ecosystem map and an accompanying page/app on near.org
- Syncing with Jake Stutzman on this
- Working out structure for ES team: mission/vision, OKR, onboarding, strategy
- Bi-Weekly projects syncs to stay on top of needs, keep up to date with progress, etc.
Results:
- Fleshing out an ES Landing Page - What we do, our mission/vision, how to work with us - aiming to get this officially shipped this week!
- Got the ecosystem map repo set up (link). Schema revisions in progress. Seeding initial dataset.
- Have a v1/MVP visual for priority rollout
- Ultimate goal is to integrate this into an immersive app with project analytics
- Unpacked onboarding experience w/ Cameron Dennis to optimize the onboarding for future ecosystem managers
- aggregate resources regarding topics like org structure, active/past partnerships, protocol learning material, communication best practices, etc
Challenges & Blockers:
- Website team is at max bandwidth coming up to website launch deadline
- Ecosystem map technical decisions
- data format, schema, optimizing for data entry (md) vs integration ease (json).
- Website or immersive app?
- Ramping up to effectively route inbound inquiries. Taking over existing partner relationships.
- Locating and parsing information from disparate ecosystem data sources and NEARians with the institutional knowledge.
Action Items:
- Continue to work with Jake Stutzman on github community/public facing ecosystem repo to get a v1/MVP up and running
- Developing a process to accept ecosystem feedback and understanding area to improve
- Work with Cameron, Ross, Norah to refine active ecosystem projects.
