During a musical tour with Ugobest entertainment, a known music label in Lagos,Nigeria, a show was hosted on my behalf to promote my single and to my greatest Suprise we found some undeveloped talents who came to showcase their talent, amazing for me to hear the lovely melody coming from those boys, their talent was raw and undiscovered.
So many undiscovered talent are out there, waiting to be heard or looking for a platform to showcase this talents…
So ever since it has been a dream to bring about a big talent hunt competition in the island part of Lagos,
This will be very beneficial to the community, imagine discovering a new emerging afro beat artist and bringing them to the community to create good music for minting, this has been a great idea of mine to organize a near talent hunt,
Here is a breakdown on how this event should go:
Firstly they’ll be an online singing competition with near logo and all.
Secondly after the online freestyle competition, the judges will select 15 contestants for the final show on the 20th of march. On that day it’s gonna be a live event where the 15 contestants will have to come live and showcase those beautiful talents to the judges ,
The judges will then select the best 3 among the 15 contestants.
Winner goes away with 150$
First runner up 80$
And also the winner stand a chance of winning a full music production ( fully mixed and mastered to be minted as NFT)
All the contestants will be onboarded to the near community, alongside Near T-shirt as consolation prizes.
So for this great event we are looking at 1000$ for the whole planning of this event.
Here is the budget and cost of everything:
1, Online Ads for near talent hunt competition : 50$ :5.8 near
2, Event Location (Federal civil service club): 173$ : 20.3 near
3, Prizes to be Won ( 230$) : 27 near
4, printed near t-shirts for judges: 50$ : 5.8 near
5, Music Production for the winner to be minted as NFT: 200$ : 23.5 near
7, sound, smoke, light, decoration and projector: 177$ : 20.8 near
8, banners, graphics for contestants and video coverage: 120$ : 14 near
However during the planning of this event any miscellaneous expenses will be sorted out by me @Paul @nullzero @Monish016 @vandal
