Creatives DAO Funding Proposal
The Clan DAO AGO - SEPT
Workshop Marathon before ETH Milan
Introduction
“The ones who didn’t leave are back!”
Welcome to a transformative and immersive series of workshops by The Clan DAO. From August to the end of September, this comprehensive program is designed to empower, educate, and inspire individuals in the realms of the Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, Decentralized Applications, and Fashion Technology.
We aim to bring together a diverse group of participants interested in leveraging the power of new technologies to create innovative solutions, artistic expressions, and community-driven projects.
The workshops will be conducted once per week, culminating in a grand showcase at ETH Milan 2023. We invite participants from various backgrounds and skill levels to join us on this exciting journey, guided by the experienced hand of @duOCELOT. Whether you’re an artist, developer, designer, or enthusiast, these workshops have a place for you.
Through hands-on practice, collaborative learning, and creative exploration, attendees will gain practical skills, insights, and the confidence to create and contribute in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
Each workshop will be available for 15 subscribers. One can participate in the other; there’s no limitation. Besides the 3D that will need a basic Blender acknowledgment and some equipment to build, the others can almost easily be done through your smartphone.
Please find below the detailed agenda, project descriptions, and workshop budget. We look forward to your support and collaboration in making this vision come to life.
The workshops will be conducted once per week, with all courses to be completed before October 2 and showcased at ETH Milan 2023.
The minister of the workshops is @duOCELOT, and he can be reached via Telegram at t.me/duOCELOT.

Project 1: Advanced Metaverse 3D Room Build in NEAR Hub
THE CREATION OF A NEAR HUB ROOM TO ETH MILAN 2023
This project aims to teach attendees how to design and develop advanced 3D rooms in the NEAR Hub metaverse. This includes using NEAR NFTs as a gate for room access and creating an immersive environment using particle systems, lighting, and ambient sound. The tools to be used for this project are Spoke and Blender. Here’s one EXAMPLE or create your room with the scene.
The budget for this project is $1060 in NEAR tokens, divided as follows:
Item | Cost (USD) |
---|---|
Workshop delivery | 350 |
Support team | 140 |
Marketing | 70 |
Tutorial production | 200 |
Workshop Subtotal | 760 |
Prize for contest winner | 300 |
Total Project 1 Cost | 1060 |
Project 2: Use of AI and Sharddog for Generative Collection
THE CREATION OF A COMMUNITY COLLECTION TO BE USED TO ONBOARD
This project utilizes AI and a Sharddog link to build a generative collection as an invitation onboard system as the one created for the Brazilian Community. This includes using an AI generator to engineer a system that makes similar images, deploying these images to a cloud folder (such as Google Drive), and preparing to build a Sharddog link.

Project 3: Building a dApp UI Using AI
This project aims to teach attendees how to design and develop user interfaces for decentralized applications using AI at near.social as the Voyager AI Generator and the web4 Sky Harbour project (WIP)
This includes using an AI image generator, applying prompt engineering to build UI elements, and using ChatGPT to assist in code development.
The budget for this project is $1060 in NEAR tokens, divided as follows:

Project 4: Using AI to Design Clothing - The Basics
This project aims to introduce attendees to the basics of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the design and creation of clothing. Participants will learn to leverage AI algorithms and tools to conceptualize, design, and prototype garments.
In this course, we will create textures to be used as stamps for IRL clothing and produce one piece for each participant that will be showcased at events.
A Brazilian company will handle the Production of the clothes, and we will be showcasing at the events we are participating in until the end of the year.
The budget for this project is $1360 in NEAR tokens, divided as follows:

Invitation and Participant Selection
Once the proposal is approved, an invitation will be announced. A form will be created to collect the following details of interested participants:
- Email address
- NEAR wallet details
- I-am-human KYC verification
- Telegram handle
- Experience with AI (if any)
- Tools currently used in AI or related work
This information will help us better tailor the workshops to the experience level and needs of the participants.
The following software will be required:
Internet Connection
Blender 3.6
A PC for 3D building using NEAR HUB SPOKE online editor.
The AI tools will be presented after the candidates fill out the form.
We will use ChatGPT, image generators such as Leonardo.ai, https://lexica.art, Stable Diffusion apps, and others as tiles generators, sound generators and video.
Image editor software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. There’s a 7-day trial for them if you don’t have it. They are powerful tools; we are saving this trial for the workshop. There are alternatives with good quality, too, for free.
Marketing Campaing
We will build visual and textual material for each workshop and one person per workshop to deliver the message through the Community through the NDC WG and beyond social media. We will coordinate and support the team. Each participant will be rewarded with 70 USD in NEAR Tokens to advertise.
The candidates will be invited from the NDC WG, such as REGEN WG, FDAO, RCDAO, and others.
Conclusion
This is a summary of the proposal, and we reiterate the total funding required is $4540 in NEAR tokens. For cover two months, AGOST and SEPTEMBER.
