ShardDog, a pioneering web3 marketing platform, seeks a grant of $10,000 from the Marketing DAO to bolster its efforts in enhancing marketing features on the BOS, supporting NEAR ecosystem projects, and promoting ShardDog as a flagship tool for NEAR. This proposal outlines the objectives, utilization of funds, and the expected KPIs that will measure the success of our initiatives over the next 30 days. We have come to the Marketing DAO after applying to the Grassroots as well.
- Enhance Marketing Features on the BOS: To develop and refine the marketing tools available on the BOS, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and effective.
- Support NEAR Ecosystem Projects: To assist NEAR ecosystem projects with seamless onboarding, covering the costs of link setup and basic wallet creation.
- Promote ShardDog: To amplify the visibility and utility of ShardDog, thereby indirectly promoting NEAR.
ShardDog offers a unique and innovative solution for projects to onboard users through a single link. A ShardDog link comprises:
- Gate: The entry point where users initiate their journey.
- Claim: Allows users to claim rewards such as NFTs, tokens, etc.
- Handoff: Directs users to a subsequent action post-claim.
For instance, NEARWEEK, the official NEAR newsletter, has successfully onboarded hundreds of subscribers using ShardDog. Subscribers can claim an NFT of the latest cover and are then directed to the latest newsletter edition.
ShardDog’s vision is to merge the best of web3 (data ownership and privacy) with web2 tools, focusing on community building. While it’s built on NEAR, the aim is to make it accessible to any chain, ensuring a safe and meaningful experience for all users.
The grant will be allocated as follows:
- Development and Enhancement: A significant portion will be directed towards the development and enhancement of marketing features on the BOS.
- Support for NEAR Ecosystem Projects: Funds will be used to cover the costs associated with setting up ShardDog links and creating basic wallets for NEAR ecosystem projects.
- Marketing and Promotion: A dedicated budget for marketing campaigns, content creation, and other promotional activities to boost ShardDog’s visibility.
- Infrastructure Costs: Like anything in tech, we need to be able to run at minimum a lean setup for our platform.
- User Onboarding: A 20% increase in the number of users onboarded through ShardDog links.
- NEAR Ecosystem Project Adoption: Onboard at least 3 new NEAR ecosystem projects onto ShardDog.
- Engagement Metrics: Achieve a 15% increase in user engagement metrics, including link clicks, NFT claims, and subsequent actions.
- Feedback and Iteration: Collect feedback from at least 50% of the onboarded projects and implement enhancements based on this feedback.
- Support for Conference Activations: Participate in and support at least two upcoming conference activations, showcasing ShardDog’s capabilities and promoting the NEAR ecosystem.
We are submitting this proposal for 10k but we would like to get to 50k total over the next couple of months. Our roadmap helps bring more access to projects and better marketing tools.
