Thanks for the great work with your team.

I did not see plans for using near.social for contests and other events. can you help explain?

Thanks

Absolutely, IgbozeIsrael. In our plan to expand the BOS ecosystem and actively engage our community, near.social will play a pivotal role.

To enhance community engagement, we’ll utilize near.social extensively in the following ways:

  1. Content Sharing on Near.social: All educational materials, news updates, tutorials, and infographics created by our team will be posted on near.social. This approach ensures that community members have a centralized location to access all the relevant content.
  2. Active Encouragement for Near.social Use: Beyond merely posting content, we’ll actively encourage our community members to use near.social for their interactions. We’ll do this by emphasizing the benefits of using the platform and promoting its features in our communications. This approach fosters an active community and helps our members get the most out of the platform.
  3. User Engagement through Near.social: All our community activities, including quizzes, meme contests, AMAs, and other events, will be conducted on near.social. By doing so, we reinforce the usage of the platform and make it an integral part of the community’s experience.
  4. Near.social as a Hub for Partnerships and Product Testing: When we establish partnerships or perform product testing, we’ll use near.social as the primary platform for these activities. This strategy not only showcases the versatility of near.social but also demonstrates our commitment to making it a central part of the NEAR ecosystem.

By focusing on near.social as a critical tool for our community engagement and expansion efforts, we can foster a vibrant and thriving NEAR ecosystem.

Thank you for your proposal and your great job to the ecosystem.

I have a few concerns and questions:

  • Why are your social media accounts not growing in number of users?

  • You mentioned 0.8k in your telegram group in your first proposal First proposal , which we expect to slightly increase before the following month, but after your report is the same growth First report in which you submitted the same growth rate in the following month’s proposal and the same this month too, with a slight increase in your twitter from 1.8 to 1.9k which you didn’t even check. Your other two proposals also mentioned the same growth rate.

Attention to detail is very important, especially when submitting a proposal for a fund request.

Lastly, what are your challenges in terms of user growth? is it something that we can help, because if after receiving funding for a good 3 months, there is no sign of a user growth rate, which is a serious concern

Am happy to have a call with you or your team, holla me tg:Bakaka01

Hi, Bakaka,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions and concerns. We highly appreciate the attention and feedback you have provided as this helps us stay accountable and continuously improve.

To address your query regarding the growth of our social media accounts, our team has been heavily concentrating on the development and enhancement of Near.social. We are pleased to share that we have experienced significant growth on this platform, more than doubling the number of users recently. Moreover, we are actively working on improving our presence on other social media platforms including Instagram, Medium, and YouTube, and have observed a twofold increase there as well.

Regarding the consistency in numbers mentioned for our Telegram group and Twitter, we acknowledge the oversight and apologize for any confusion caused. Our Telegram group has seen heightened activity and engagement, as reflected in the statistics from our reports. We are committed to growing our Telegram community further. As for the Twitter account, we have now updated the figures and are determined to make it a priority to double-check all data in future proposals and reports.

We understand the importance of branding and have taken steps to make our social media presence more engaging and approachable by adopting a web2-friendly appearance. Additionally, we have actively participated in events such as NEAR Korea DAO Community Meetup: A Buidl.asia Side Event during ETH Seoul Week, June 2023, South Korea, where we successfully onboarded over 80 accounts on Near.social and engaged with new projects like AI Network.

We are sincerely grateful for your feedback, as it aids us in recognizing areas that require additional focus. Your concern regarding user growth is important to us, and we are putting in efforts to attract users through high-quality, user-friendly educational content and engaging events in collaboration with other projects.

If there’s any way the community could support us, or if you have suggestions, we are open to discussions and collaborations. We would also be delighted to have a call with you to discuss further. You can expect to hear from us on Telegram soon.

Once again, thank you for your valuable input and your continued support for NEAR Korea DAO.

An outstanding job was done on social media and near social last month!

I love that you started using Zealy and your Twitter looka solid.

Happy to support a new proposal, but keep in mind, that RC DAO’s main KPI right now is on-chain metrics, so:

  • We expect that your guild will join the IAH contest and will onboard people to IAH
  • You already do an awesome job! But to show on-chain metrics we expect contests where people will do something on BOS/Near Social not only your account
  • Just an idea that Keypom stats from offline events are well-trackable so you could use it too

Hello team!

  • How many UAW and transactions your community brought to our Ecosystem in June?
  • It would be great if pay more attention on RC DAO spreadsheet;

RC DAO KPIs:

  1. Transactions increase via interactions with products on NEAR. For clarity and simplicity, the RC-DAO shall focus on activities generated through the community’s wallet(s). Examples are engagements through keypom, near.social, NEARDROP, AstroDAO, or bOS etc. This makes it easier for the district to be sure of activities that are specific to each community.
  2. Developer activities on bOS: This involves all onboarded developers either web3 or web2 that play over widgets on bOS. RC leaders should be sure to have a record of developers onboarded on-chain. This makes it easy for checks too.
  3. Community rewards to members who are active on near.social. This means activities where ever held, should transit to the use of near.social to announce winners. ONLY community members using near.social should be rewarded. Also near.social can be used for activities such as quizzes, meme contests, etc
  4. Interaction with Github or other developer tools associated with the NEAR ecosystem.
  5. Testing of products before launch on the ecosystem
  6. Increase in community size organically. We ought to remember that a community of 100 that brings great on-chain traction is far better than a community of 1000 without on-chain activities.
  7. Business Partnerships: Regional Communities can/should work on building partnerships with local businesses and organizations to promote the use of the NEAR Protocol. This can help increase the number of transactions on the network as more businesses start accepting NEAR tokens as payment.
  8. Developer Outreach: Regional Communities can/should hold events that will attract developer onboarding into the ecosystem. This will lead to building local products that will attract more users from local regions into the ecosystem.
  9. Hosting workshops to educate the community on how to use various products built on NEAR

Could you please update your proposal according to the KPIs? Thanks!
