[APPROVED] Cabeça na lua - physical event in Portugal

Hey NxM family!

muti collective would like to introduce you to the Cabeça na lua events, which will take place on the 18th and 25th os September this month in Portugal.

Each event will consist of 3 concerts each, the locations will be in nature and out of the city for the visitors to sit, listen and travel with their minds, all in a safe space even within the pandemic.

All artists are portuguese and given that this year has been very rough for artists and venues, we would love to reward them accordingly for their work.

For this event we are collaborating with several other DAOs to then also create video footage which will be streamed afterwards. I am leaving the link for the full description in here. (Values adjusted to USD due to the transition phase but happy to change them back to N in case it makes it more comprehensible for this month).

muti will bridge the physical with the digital by organizing 2 physical music events in the nature of Portugal (Sertã & Montemor-o-Novo). The events will offer an immersive experience by creating an atmosphere in nature where the visitors are able to sit, listen and travel with their minds while diving into the ethereal sounds of the artists. The idea started during the last summer already, when the pandemic hit and the cultural scene and its participants suffered a lot due to cancelled cultura…

We would love to create an NFT in the NxM store from every concert which will unlock content in form of the full performance, as the stream will be available only once in CV.

requested amount: 150N
DAO: muti.sputnikdao.near

Given that the concerts will take place outside of the city and the artists need to travel by car and need food & accommodation, 150N at the current price (9.54$ coingecko/10.9.) we would be able to pay the artists for all the 6 concerts including travel costs and accommodation.

In case NEAR would increase the value again, the remaining funds will be used for the sound technician @ted.iv and to pay the licensing for the first location in Sertã.

Thanks @tabear Maybe there’s another DAO you could submit to for additional funding? @chloe do you have any thoughts or ideas there?

Another thought would be to do some NFTs as fundraising?

As we’ve already included the proposal in our September funding budget you can go ahead and mark the proposal approved and submit it to the NxM DAO

We have split the funding requests (NxM, VR and then Creatives in September (upcoming) and we also count on using a buffer from our side to cover what we promised the artists to receive. If N keeps the current value we should be fine

NFT for fundraising is a great idea! Just not sure if we would have enough time for that. We’ll talk to the gang!
