Today we would like to announce that Egor Kulikov recently joined the NEAR engineering team. Egor is one of the most successful competitive programmers working today. He won Google Code Jam in 2010 and TopCoder Open in 2012, an achievement only matched by three other people in the entire world. In addition to his achievements in competitive programming, Egor has more than ten years of experience as a software engineer and has worked at a number of top companies, including Google, Yandex, and Devexperts. At NEAR, Egor will mostly work on transaction runtime, the asynchronous execution engine that powers our blockchain. It is a great honor for us to have Egor onboard and we look forward to working with him.
