@NxM, BeatDAO Wassup!!

INTRODUCTION

I’m Gabriel. (GabrielMuse01 on Telegram). Joining NxM in November 2021 vitalized my musical career and galvanized me into creativity. Although I’m still working on my 3-track EP, I’ve had the unprecedented opportunity to record up to 3 songs including bangers like Respek as my entry for the Nearnauts NFT Anthem and My Boo. I look forward to making tons of great music with all the amazing singers and producers in the NxM/BeatDAO space.

About The Show

Every week, tens of incredible content are churned out by the Music community (like NxM, BeatDAO, etc) on Near. The amount of content produced is rising steadily as our community continues to grow. The rate of our expansion and social influence leading to massive onboarding can be exponentially optimized if our content is made available to a wider off-chain audience.

I therefore propose to create a Music Show that will ultimately promote music video content produced by our community. This show which will be hosted by me, and will feature sessions of video documentaries about several interesting music facts, happenings, etc. interspersed with music videos from members of NxM, BeatDAO, etc.

Elements Of The Near Music Show

  1. Music Documentaries:

Here we will feature short, but incisive documentaries about Music history, Music genres, Music Trends e.g. Music and NFTs, etc.

  1. Interviews:

The show will also feature interviews of the movers and shakers and members of the Music community on Near.

  1. News:

There will be a news feature where news of upcoming events, upcoming music and video releases, etc. will be shared.

  1. Weekly or Monthly Charts

We’ll feature trending songs in a chart a la Billboard where most downloaded, most streamed, etc. songs will be announced.

  1. Celebrity Interview

COVERAGE

The show will be aired on YouTube and featured as Instagram reels, etc. Viewers will also be able to catch the show on Nearhub.

The scope of this show will expand and become more refined with time.

Justification

  1. Increased coverage and promotion of Music on Near Protocol

  2. Creating awareness for the opportunities on Near, leading to the onboarding of new builders and users.

  3. Increasing community engagement and dedication.
