Music alone shall live. It is hard for us not to fall in love with music. It is soothing and it greatly touches our soul. Music is a part of our lives and we cannot live without it. It is so good that we even tend to attend concerts and music festivals. We have Playlists in our phones and we always listen to music in our spare times. Music is important. And it is even more important to musicians.
I’m Romanus Madu popularly known as Ankara YW. I’m a raggae & pop musician making good sound, a song writer and also a stage performer, having my main fan base in Yabatech and some part in Lagos. I have being in the NXM family for 4months, I have done successful EP projects with the NXM family and I have my songs minted on NFT.
As part of the organizers, I also had successful events in the Campus like “Dinner Night” “Freshers Night”, “All Week”. I’m always active and I sometimes attend meetings with the NXM family.
I would love to keep to your notice about the Concert that will be holding in Yaba College of Technology titled “Near Music Heritage” which will be held around ‘May 2022’.
Near Music Heritage will be featuring dance competition, music performance, talk show that will enlighten the Yabatech students about Near Protocol Crypto Currency.
Also the NMH is trying to target the youths in campus and the adults to grow the Near Protocol Community
The goals of NMH are:
- To help fulfill Near Mission of serving the community
- To bring notice to the people about Near Protocol and its advantages.
- To increase the number of people in the community in the usage of Near Protocol
- To create a platform using Near as a means for transacting within the community.
- To encourage people for the usage of Near Protocol crypto in buying and selling of goods and services using Near as means of payment
Highlights and Prizes of how Participants and Performers will be rewarded are:
There will be live performances by Talented Musicians from the NXM family and other performing artists. Dance competition will be held also in which the winner will be rewarded handsomely in Near, highlights are:
- Near Music Heritage will be creating a group on telegram for all attendant registered on the event to know more about near and its ecosystem.
- To all attendants in the group, we will also create a Near Wallet for every attendant registered in the group.
- We will be rewarding only the first 20 registered participants in the event with 0.05near.
- Every performer in the event will get paid total of $425, and the breakdown are
- Performing DJ - $100(will be in charge of anything pertaining to sound instrument)
- 3 Music Performer - $50 each ($150)
- 1st runner up in Music Competition - $100. 50% of the $100 will be used for Free music production and minted on NFT and the remaining 50% will be paid to the artist
- 2nd runner up in Music Competition - $50 only
- 3rd runner up in Music Competition - $25 only
List of prices that will make up the Events are:
Renting of Hall - $150
Camera man - $100
Graphics design and Printing - $130
3 Ushers - $20 each ($60)
Printed vest customize with NEAR & logo - $85
Security - $50
The estimated budget needed for the concert will be upto $1k.
NXM can also give NMH an opportunity to host this kind of event as a yearly program in order to grow the Near Protocol Crypto and NXM community, this will encourage more people to indulge in the Near Protocol as their new digital currency and also help the NMH becoming a standard event operating on it own, adding other features like awards in different field. Also it will add to my carrier and improve me to become a better person.
