In February, we initiated education partnerships to onboard, educate, and retain both technical and non-technical women in our DAO. As a follow-up proposal in March, we submitted a plan focused on marketing and amplifying the projects to ensure we achieve our goals. This report serves as the continuation and final part of our February progress report

In our ongoing effort to equip women in our DAO, Near and the entire Web3/web2 space with the knowledge to engage and/or build a career in Blockchain, our March project proposal for She is Near X SheFi cohort10 sponsorship was aimed at providing the necessary coordination, Marketing and visibility needed for the successful execution of the partnership for the SheFi cohort 10 education program.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Number of onboarded members to DAO telegram: 75
  • more than 100 individuals who were not previously DAO members have applied for the She Fi Scholarship. It’s worth noting that our efforts have significantly raised awareness about Near, leading to the onboarding of more than 200 women from this project.
  • Number of wallets created: +350
  • Sharddog NFTs minted: ~400
  • Number of Tekuno NFTs minted: 39( in progress)
  • Interaction with 6 products built on Near (My Near Wallet, Sharddog, Tekuno, Pathfinder, Keypom, Mintbase)
  • Near class attendance: 170 students live and over 300 offline listeners

TEAM CONTRIBUTIONS:

  1. Blessed: Played a crucial role in She Fi Cohort 10 as the education lead. She is spearheading initiatives related to SMM and has made equivalent contributions in managing the registration and onboarding process and overall administration.
  2. Krik : Has overseen the project by coordinating governance efforts, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, managing overall project coordination, and handling administrative tasks.
  3. Near Balkans : initiated and Designed majority of online tasks
  4. Ida Pandur : Served as an advisor, playing a pivotal role in overcoming various obstacles—including legal challenges, lesson content development, and on-chain activities. Additionally, she prepared and delivered a sponsor Near Class presentation.
  5. Foyeke: Has actively moderated the She Fi Students; addressing their inquiries, fostering engagement, and providing motivation for their participation in classes and various activities.
  6. Sarah: Made substantial efforts to overcome communication obstacles with SheFi. These challenges stemmed from varying time zones and cultural differences

Full Stack Femmes was a course designed to help web2 Devs transition into Web3 and learn how to build and deploy frontend components on Near Protocol.

SECTION 4:
In-Progress Activities: Project cancelled
It was unfortunate that we had to cancel this project after all the efforts invested into it by different people including ecosystem OGs who were kind enough to volunteer to instruct the course. This decision was as a result of many things which include disrespect for our community, unfounded accusations and ecosystem political interference.
It was a difficult decision but we believe it’s the most healthy choice for our community. We officially closed down our partnership with Jutsu on the 2nd of April 2024

Project 3:
Project title: legal entity as an association

Overview: We have hired MML Legal out of Zurich. www.mll-legal.com The firm has provided us with a council on an efficient approach to setting up an association in Switzerland. We have chosen to create a very simple incorporation that will provide us an address and an entity that we can amend over time.

Milestone: We had wanted to set up the association in early April, although the trustees had not voted on all the DAO distributions until the 3rd week of April. Therefore we thought it was not good business to start the paid work with the lawyers until we were sure we could pay the bills, and believe that the association will be finalised this month.
IN-PROGRESS: We had two meetings this month to bring them up to speed on our needs and goal
