Summary
I’m currently involved in a few projects related to research , education , and development . Below is a summary of the progress of June.
Education
I’m currently leading the NEAR-in-Arabic brand and providing webinars and educational content for the Arabic-speaking world. Here are a few updates:
- Trained, and about to certify, a new NCD developer.
- 496+ total hours of content watched on Youtube so far.
- Held 3 webinars in June:
– The first was on “Blockchain dApps Workshop 1 (Smart Contract)”
– The second was on “Blockchain dApps Workshop 2 (Front-end , led by @hiba) ”
– Third one topic was “Introduction to Blockchain” hosted by Faculty of Computer and Information, Cairo University
One more webinar is scheduled for 17th of July 2022 @ The Faculty of Computer and Information, Ainshams University.
Stats of this month audience:
- 30+ total attendees
- 9.3/10 webinar average rating
- 4.7/5 instructor rating average
- The feedback on the webinar was positive and encouraging.
Development
Hired an associate developer and worked on the following:
Flutter Connector (Building Mobile Apps Using Flutter and NEAR)
Made a very good progress building a mobile app using Flutter that:
- Connects with NEAR (Keys generation and wallet login)
- Create and sign transaction
We will release this to public soon.
NEAR Eye
- App fist version is live now on Play store with basic features of monitoring a few accounts information and displaying NEAR price.
Research
Not much done this month.

- More webinars and sessions
- Completing the mobile app development work
- Improving a previous research piece on Blockchain and IoT
- Review NCD project and certify my first NCD developer
- Keep growing the community
