Hello,

Thank you for your report.

I just have few concerns:

  1. However, you have 20 active members on TG but still the engagement is quite low. I hardly see anyone interacting there. No announcement post in March (or maybe 1 post you did). No news and updates shared regarding NEAR Ecosystem. Same issue with Twitter, no original post I see there (except one thread). This is really a big concern.

  2. No partnership evidence. Maybe I am not able to understand, what exactly Near Toronto did there?

  3. Low wallet transaction, the target was 15 wallets with avg 7 txns.

Are there any issues you are facing with KPIs? Feel free to reach out to any of the councils if there is any issue with understanding the KPIs. We will surely help you out.

Hi @iamanansari

Engagement on Telegram and Twitter

Thank you for your feedback regarding the engagement levels on our Telegram group and Twitter account. We acknowledge the need for increased activity and are taking steps to address this concern.

In March, our focus was heavily oriented towards our in-person events, which led to a lesser degree of online interaction than planned. However, we recognize the importance of consistent online engagement to maintain community interest and involvement. To improve this, we are planning on implementing the following strategies:

  • Scheduled Posts: We will introduce a content calendar for both Twitter and Telegram to ensure regular posts, updates, and engagement opportunities.
  • Interactive Content: We are planning to launch quizzes and AMAs on our Telegram group to increase interaction. On Twitter, we will initiate weekly threads discussing blockchain trends and NEAR updates to foster engagement.
  • Dedicated Community Manager: We are considering hiring a community manager whose primary role will be to animate our online platforms, ensuring that there is always a lively discussion and regular updates.
  • Increase in original content published on Twitter but also to drive volume in Telegram

We believe these steps will significantly enhance our engagement rates and ensure that our community remains active and informed about the latest developments within the NEAR ecosystem.

Evidence of Partnership

Thank you for pointing out the need for clearer documentation regarding our partnerships. We understand the importance of transparently demonstrating collaborative efforts and their impact.

In the report, we detailed our partnership with Waterloo Blockchain for a collaborative event which featured multiple NEAR ecosystem related workshops led by Alex. To ensure clarity and provide verifiable evidence of our partnership activities, we have included additional documentation:

  • Event Photographs and Videos: We have attached images and video clips from the event, showcasing the event and NEAR Toronto involvement.
  • Twitter and other social announcements and post-event reactions and recaps.

Please let us know if there is some format of proof that we missed.

Low Wallet Transaction Volume

Regarding the wallet transactions, we fell short of our targets this month, and we appreciate your concern. The lower transaction numbers can possibly be attributed to several factors:

  • First month of tracking these metrics
  • We primarily targeted a new segment within our region this month
  • Increasing transaction numbers through activity is a process that needs to be nurtured as this particular region may not be incentivized in the same manner as other regions
  • Previously unboarded users and wallets prior to GlobeDAO involvement not being eligible for transactions

The following steps will be taken to ensure increased activity:

  • Repeated connectivity and interaction with onboarded wallets and users
  • Community gamification and interactivity to drive ecosystem engagement and familiarity
  • A focus on better understanding and borrowing inspiration from other successful regions on how they are driving transactions and user activity within their communities.

Thank you for your support.
