In this topic I am going to show you what we did in the last weeks for Near Protocol German:
NEAR German Telegram (Telegram: Contact @near_german)
On Telegram we continued with our work in our Near German group. The goal was to increase further the engagement. In April we were able to increase the engagement considerably, we really had a good engagement, in May the engagement decreased a bit. As we all know it’ s due to the very difficult situation on the crypto market. But for June we are planning an activity contest in our Telegram group. We are sure that we will be able to increase the motivation of our users.

On Twitter we also continued with our work. We had tweeted the latest news and upgrades within the NEAR ecosystem. We managed to increase our members. Currently we have almost 370 members.

Twitter space “NEAR Deutsch Meet & Greet”
On April 14 we hosted a Twitter space “NEAR Deutsch Meet & Greet”. This was our first Online-Meeting. The goal was to get to know more our community members. The Twitter space took about 2 hours, we talked about NEAR and projects within in the NEAR ecosystem and met new members.

In the last two months we also translated some articles to German and posted them on our Medium account (https://medium.com/@NEAR_German) and also promoted them on Twitter and Telegram.

Partnership with MEXC German
On May 10 we did an AMA Session in the MEXC German group (Telegram: Contact @MEXC_DE). We collected questions from the users beforehand. We got so many questions, that was incredible, the MEXC users were incredibly interested in NEAR. During the AMA the moderator from MEXC German opened the group to ask further questions. After 10 seconds we had about 50 questions. We couldn’t answer all of them, but we selected some and answered them. We are really happy with that event.

Partnership with Bitget German
With Bitget German we did two AMA Sessions. On April 28 we hosted the first AMA in our Telegram group and on April 29 Bitget German hosted the second AMA in their Telegram group (Telegram: Contact @Bitget_DACH). We collected questions from the Bitget Users and answered some of them and collected questions from our users about Bitget that were answered from the representative of Bitget German. Both AMA sessions were successful.
Sustainable Blockchain Hackathon '22 powered by NEAR
On May 29 we took part in the Sustainable Blockchain Hackathon’22 in Vienna, Austria. Our goal was to get to know us personally within our team and to connect to some developers, creators and NEAR enthusiasts. We got contacts from some Blockchain Developers and potential partners and also met Vlad Frolov from the NEAR Engineering Team. I think we should take part in such events more often or host such events in future. We are currently discussing about some options in this direction. Stay tuned.
Some impressions from the event:
Summarizing the last two month I think we can be proud of our work. We presented the latest news and updates to our community as we have done since November 2021 and we tried some new stuff. We entered some partnerships with other German communities, did very successful AMA sessions, hosted our first Online Event and took part for the first time in an Offline Event. Some activities are still ongoing like the Partnership with Bitcoin2Go or some activity contests in our community. I will present the results in the end of June.
