Updated Project Timeline:

Incubadora started a process of redistributing Its council activities in order to work in a more organic and efficient way. From now on, we’re going to be able to divide our tasks more equally while asking less money for the council and administrative matters. Our goal is to prioritize our activities. We have established 5 teams: Financial Team, Astrodao team, Reports and metrics team, Sales and marketplaces team, Partnerships and international leads team.
We started a partnership with The 3xR in order to create a bridge between Its tools and technology and the Portuguese-speaking creatives community. During the month, we invited artists and curators to use, experiment and learn about blockchain, metaverse and NFT’s. The result is a series of customized virtual galleries created by them and minted in our Mintbase Store

After an internal workshop about DeFi, we created a video tutorial about ref.finance and metapool.app: Como fazer STAKE dos seus tokens NEAR na Wallet e no MetaPool - YouTube
Due to the changes observed in our community, in particular, the Guilds’ Tiering System, we decided to work hard in a proposal that will allow us to run for the NEAR Foundation Grants Program and other funding programs such as the Daocubator.
We are also working on a Grant Request to the Mintbase team, to support the creation of 2 dapps.
Incubadora organized a meeting with the members of Triângulo project in order to set up a partnership. The idea is to develop an artistic residency at Prisma Studio where Incubadora will be part of the mentorship process.

Highlights:

The winners of the 4th edition of our Artist Stipend Program are finishing their second month and will soon deliver reports and works to be minted as NFTs.
The 5th edition is underway, and currently the jury is selecting the best 4 dancers/performers out of a universe of 29 people from several countries. LINK

Literatura Contemporânea: hibridismos, escritas não criativas e inespecificidades, the #6 seminar held by Incubadora’s educational project. It was presented by Dr. Tiago Velasco, one of the writers who applied to the writers open call. The activity was really successful with more than 50 subscriptions and 15 attendees. The seminar video will soon be available on our YouTube channel

Neuroaesthetics seminar preview

In partnership with the Philosophers DAO, we collaborated in the creation of 2 seminars, both run on Youtube: Seminar 1 and Seminar 2

Jéssica Burrinha, Francisco Lourenço and Henrique Neves were the featured artists in the continuation of our Artist Interviews by CUDO x Incubadora called “CUBA SHOTS” a project that portrays artists in the contexts of their daily life and work. The final videos will soon be displayed on our YouTube channel.
Incubadora Vertical also supported the following projects: Travel Podcast, 28 days in Tallinn. Besides that, thanks to our Vertical fundings, we were able to reflect and define the Dapps we want to develop: one for managing our open calls, facilitating both submitions and jury voting; and another one for managing our Vertical itself, distributing funds in a more decentralized way.
We also supported the creation of a Zine (NFT and physical) from a local artists community, ‘Atelier Concorde’. The launch and exhibition were a success. Website and NFT on Mintbase.

Learnings:

Incubadora is growing and we want to develop more activities in the future. With that said, It’s important to increase the amount of people working with us; looking for 2-3 people to help us on specific projects.
Focusing on long term planning is crucial to increase our DAO’s resilience and growth

Choosing and announcing the winners of the #6 Open Call
Preparing and running the next Incubadora’s seminars, both on our own and with the Philosophers DAO
Inviting more creatives to experiment the creation of customized galleries in 3xR space
Keep on developing our Dapps and investing in strategies to become more financially sustainable, increasing the resilience of our DAO
Preparing the next Poliedro Catalogue
