AURORA AFRICA REPORT FOR JANUARY
After months of no funds for Aurora Regional Communities, We finally got funded by the Aurora Community DAO as seen here.
Upon executing our weekly plans, as scheduled, we encountered a situation where some dApps on Aurora were down. This made work a little hard for our team as the main goals were to spring up activities to onboard new users into the eco and also retain users via activities in these dApps.
The Aurora Community DAO councils are aware of this and advised us to keep to the activities we could while some of the dApps are revived.
To continue having on-chain activities, we kept to activities on our near.social account via quizzes and contests to retain users. Aurora Africa (auroraafrica.near) | Near Social
We also, partnered with Meteor Wallet to help onboard users the link can be found here.

We also, generated keyporm links to help users get onboard to carry out on-chain activities.
With the return of some of the community dApps, our community having 50% of the funds available, will continue to work till the end of February to fully report other activities done through Aurora native dApps.
