AURORA AFRICA PROPOSAL FOR FEBRUARY 2024
Aurora Africa is a Regional Community Focused on growing Aurora in Africa. This is done by numerous activities amongst web2/web3 products and communities. Our activities over time included representing Aurora at events, schools and web3 workshops for mass adoption.
We have come to request funding for a couple of activities to wake up the sleeping community after months of inactivity in the Ecosystem.

Following the success, failure, challenges, and corrections that took over the last few months, we have deemed this fit as a great start for the year 2024 to give us a good chance to grow large as a regional guild.
Our key focus has hereby been adjusted to suit the current KPIs NDC COA. They are
- Onboarding builders from Africa
- Increasing On-Chain Activity
- Onboard web2 users into Aurora Ecosystem
METRICS TO MEASURE SUCCESS
- Host at least two online events primarily for developers to engage and invite into the ecosystem. Resulting in building or taking up developer activities within the ecosystem.
- An exhaustion of at least 5000 transactions by Aurora Africa Community members.
- The creation of four articles about ecosystem updates, projects within the ecosystem, and blockchain series for mass education.
- Creation of Gaming events, content contests, and social media activities per week that would keep the community active and running on the blockchain.
- Growing our social media impressions and SEO by 70-100% monthly.
- Our Project of the Week series. This focuses on practical sessions with community members on how to use those products. Four projects will be centred on this month.
- Hold at least Four (4) AMAs both with off-chain communities and on-chain community projects combined
- Generate FOUR videos, and infographics for four projects on Aurora to enable ecosystem simplicity and understanding.
- Summarise weekly news for community consumption
- Use Aurora Pass for all community rewards.
- Create a video/infographic guide on how to redeem rewards via Aurora+.
