Weekly Report 08/12 - 09/19
We keep growing!
REDDIT main tasks which were covered:
- Interact with various posts that members liked and engaged with.
- Assisted users having issues with AMAs.
- Worked together with Reddit ops
- Daily Managed the Moderation Queue
We had a steady growth this week, it wasn’t a huge one, but that’s more due to the fact that we are stabilizing to the current price. The overall rise of near was able to bring to our community new members that are really interested in our project and also a lot of new contributors/investors and people that would love to work with us.
We had around a 50% decrease in interaction and new members, but as mentioned, that’s mostly caused by the current price stabilization.
IMPORTANT:
The recent AMAs provided a lot of new members and interactions, but also a lot of bad actors, we are investigating a few users with the Reddit ops team that seem to abuse the AMAs rewards and transfer funds within them, once the investigation is finished, proper actions will be taken.
ALSO, the daily report form has been officially implemented, a monthly report with the most frequent questions, issues, bad actors and general tips to improve will be exported.

To be finished this week
- Official work plan proposal for NEAR Italian Speaking Community with an external Telegram, Discord, and Reddit fully moderated by me and a partner. Currently, trying to reach the biggest crypto-related communities in Italy.
Goals
- Unite our community by making sure to engage with supporters & community members.
- Being able to provide high-quality support to our members.
- Control and reduce scammers & bad actors that create friction within our main communication channels.
- Keep growing and create smaller communities based on language, region, and time zone.
