It was 3 really busy and amazing weeks @NEAR, I personally attended the Nearcon and meet most of you guys in real life, we reached and broke new records, we welcomed new entries and immersed them with the help of @Benz_Near @KriptoRaptor and @jcatnear and much more…
Let’s start with Reddit first.
REDDIT main tasks which were covered:
- Interact with various posts that members liked and engaged with.
- Daily Managed the Moderation Queue
- Created a new SUPPORT THREAD WITH FAQ which was really well welcomed by our community
- Created new flairs which helps to organize the various posts and engagement within the community
- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, SUB-REDDIT RULES WERE FINALLY IMPLEMENTED TO HELP US KEEP A MORE PROFESSIONAL AND SAFE CHANNEL.
Well, first of all October was our 2nd best month, we’ve also reached a new All Time high and a lot of new entries after the exciting news that were shared during the NEARCON, all of this helped us reach a new milestone, NEAR SUBREDDIT HAS OFFICIALLY SURPASSED 3K MEMBERS.
The expected page views for October were 30k, well, We’ve surpassed my predictions, the total views for October were 38,849 with 522 new members.
This makes October our 2nd best month so far, keep in mind since new rules, flairs, and updates were announced, November might be our new best month and break new records.
NEARCON!!!
Well as mentioned, I attended the first 2 days of the near con, and it was a really exciting and amazing experience, especially since I managed to meet most of you guys in real life, unfortunately not everyone was able to attend the event in Lisbon, with that being said a lot of new updates were shared about the future of NEAR.
Also special thanks to @mecsbecs and all the amazing people I meet.
NEAR ITALIA
I have some exciting updates about Near Italia, first of all, we reached 100 Followers in a week!
@GiuseppeBk is creating all the content and managing the social media channels and he’s doing a great job!
As per other channels, we are still in contact with a few blogs/influencers that will help us promote the community to their community, that’s why we had to postpone going public on other channels due to delays in communication with various blogs.

We hope that we can manage to have an official launch with a contest by the end of November.
Immersion of new MODS.
Since we had a lot of people who applied to join our team, I assisted JC to analyze various applications and provide feedback, there were a lot of great Resumes and really talented people.
Following the new brand style, I also created a new NEAR MOD OVERVIEW + REDDIT MOD WORKFLOW PP FILE WHICH I SHOWCASED TO NEW ENTRIES WITH THE HELP OF @Benz_Near @KriptoRaptor and @jcatnear tnea
