Hello, great community builders!
We are glad to bring you an update for this week and the weeks after.
Following the recent posts about council elections (Post by Regional Community Working Group | Near Social and [RCWG UPDATE] A Cal For Council Self Nomination ), we write to notify the entire community about the proceedings of the elections.
Below are the dates scheduled for various activities as we set to vote our great community builders as council members of RC-DAO to help shape and build NEAR to its destination.
Nomination Ends: June 30.
This is the new date slatted for taken sel nomination from community members.
Voter education: Jul 3 - July 7.
This will be done via updates and community calls to explain the voting procedures and the system so every candidate is sure that no one will be cheated. Also, to educate voters on how voting will be done to count.
Election: July 10 - July 14.
This is the timeline for elections. By this time, community members cannot join the voter group (https://near.org/hack.near/widget/communities.join), We encourage voters to join the DAO as elections are drawing NEAR!
